Renologist is professional in what they doing. Engage them for a commercial warehouse reinstatement project and the job is done perfectly within a tight time frame. Despite some dispute with the owner, they are always there to rectify the issue.
Before the start of the renovation, we had a few rounds of thorough discussions with our interior designers on the theme and the design of the new house. During the discussions, we talked on the different design concepts and they gave us a few suggestions on the design that we are pursuing. After we decided on the design of the rooms and the living room for the new house, we received our 3D designs and we want to make some changes for some areas of the house. Our interior designers, Ken and Ignitius managed to accommodate on the changes and gave us some opinions on how we can make it better. During the renovation process, we encounter some issues and they managed to fix it in a short period and get it done. Overall, it turned out very well with the help of Ken and Ignitius at Renologist and they provided a very satisfying and excellent service experience for us.

At Renologist, we met Ken and Ignitius as our interior designers in charge for our new house renovation. At the start, we went through a few rounds of discussions on the theme and the design for the new house. They gave us different advices on how we can enhance on our theme and design of the house, and fulfilled our requests on the designs of the rooms. Overall, it was a satisfactory and pleasant experience of having Renologist as part of our renovation process.
Our renovation experience with Renologist has been very positive. For context, our home is a 30+ year-old HDB flat. Dante, our assigned ID, was attentive and responsive from day one. He took time to understand our budget, recommended designs based on our needs, and did his best to keep everything within budget. The materials used, especially for the kitchen, were superb. Coordination and workmanship were excellent as well, and the house was handed over to us within the planned timeline. All in all, it was a very positive experience with a great finished result. The only minor area of improvement would be the wall paintwork but given the age of the house, we should have expected some unevenness on the walls.

The living room is the heart of our home, where we spend most of our time together as a family, and Ice designed it with exactly that in mind. The feature wall behind the TV has become the true centerpiece of the room. Instead of going for something plain, Ice suggested a textured stone-inspired finish in calming grey tones. The result is stunning – it adds depth, elegance, and character without being too loud. The built-in shelves on the side were such a thoughtful addition, giving us the perfect place to display family photos and little décor pieces, while keeping the overall look clean and organized.
Our sofa setup fits beautifully with the feature wall. The neutral grey upholstery complements the tones of the wall perfectly, creating a cozy yet sophisticated vibe. The layout feels open and spacious, yet still intimate enough for family movie nights or gatherings with friends. Even the choice of curtains adds a touch of softness to the room, tying the design together in a very subtle but impactful way.
What I really love is how Ice managed to balance modern elegance with comfort. The space looks sleek and polished, but it never feels cold or unwelcoming. Instead, it feels warm, inviting, and genuinely like home. Small details, like the lighting placement and how the furniture flows with the architecture of the room, really show the amount of thought and care Ice put into the design.
Every time I walk into the living area, I feel a sense of calm and pride. It’s now a space where we love to relax, entertain, and just spend time together. The design isn’t just about aesthetics; it has truly enhanced the way we use and enjoy the space.

We have moved into our new home, and at this point I would like to give a big thanks to project team James Li and Louise, the marketing team Ben and admin team 2 ladies whose name I didn't get. Along the way there were misunderstandings, but they always are there to listen patiently and try to solve any issues immediately without any delay. And even after the renovation when there are minor defects they really come back very fast to settle. That's why overall I'm very satisfied with Renologist, and definitely will recommend to others.

Joey has been a personal friend of mine even before I engaged her as our interior designer, but I want to make it clear that this review is based entirely on our renovation experience—not on our personal relationship. As first-time homeowners, my wife and I had little knowledge of how the renovation process worked or what to expect. While I had friends in the interior design industry, we wanted to go through the journey ourselves—exploring different firms, attending consultations, and learning what each designer could bring to the table.
We were looking for someone who could listen to our ideas, offer creative input, and handle the renovation process from start to finish so we wouldn’t have to worry about the outcome. After several face-to-face consultations with Joey, we were impressed by her clarity and vision. She carefully explained how she could transform our ideas into a cohesive and functional design. We had a Japandi-inspired theme in mind—something minimal, calming, yet practical. She ensured that the design reflected both form and function, rather than focusing purely on aesthetics.
Knowing that we needed a lot of storage for shoes, bags, and clothes, Joey incorporated full-height cabinetry in the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. We also struggled with deciding whether to overlay or hack the original HDB tiles, including in the bathrooms. Thankfully, the tiles matched the colour scheme we envisioned, allowing Joey to help us allocate our budget more effectively toward higher-impact areas.
One of our favourite features is the curved false ceiling and the feature wall Joey designed to cleverly conceal some awkward structural beams. It turned what could have been an eyesore into a seamless, beautiful solution—and it was well worth the additional cost.
Of course, no renovation comes without challenges. There were moments of disagreement, especially around things like curtain rail placement and carpentry details. However, through clear and open communication, we were able to resolve those issues smoothly and continue moving forward.
Joey is responsible, responsive, professional, and incredibly dedicated. In the end, we didn’t choose her because she was a friend—we chose her because of her passion for design and her strong commitment to delivering a home we truly love.
I started my renovation journey in Nov 2024. As a first-time homeowner, I was nervous engaging interior designers as I wasn’t sure what to expect. I started looking in Qanvast for different IDs and home designs that I liked and was contacted by 5 different IDs. After meeting with all 5 IDs, we chose Eileen because after we shared with her our design preferences and our home layout, she came back prepared with practical designs that align with what we envisioned for our home. She did not insist that we take up all the renovation works - when we decided to go with a wallpaper mural for the master bedroom instead of her proposed integrated feature wall and bedframe design, I was expecting that she would be disappointed, but she reacted with professionalism and actually offered to coordinate the wallpaper installation with the external vendor. Prior to confirming with Eileen, she also allowed me to inspect a near-finished project with her. After seeing the quality of the workmanship, I have the confidence to engage them for my renovation project.
We had a relatively tight timeline to start mid Feb 2025 and complete the renovation by the end of March 2025 and we were able to start the renovation work exactly as planned and complete on time. Looking back, my renovation experience has been very smooth, and the outcome has been mostly what we expected. Even though we have a general design idea, there were many small details that needed to be worked out to balance functionality with aesthetics. For example, how deep the shelves on the TV wall need to be to fit a playstation, the thickness of the floating shelf, the width of each cabinet door, and tunnels behind the TV wall to hide the cables of the TV, playstation, soundbar, etc. We worked through multiple iterations of the design to finally settle on this final version, and the same goes for the kitchen island and other carpentry. Importantly, Eileen’s team was able to implement the design very accurately, which I am thankful for. What I saw in the 3D rendering, is really what I got, which is truly amazing.
Eileen also worked well with other vendors. I had engaged a smart home vendor to work with us to set up the smart switches and other smart home equipment. Eileen was able to coordinate the electrical works by Renologist’s electrician with what was needed for the smart switches, lighting, and smart curtain tracks. When working with external vendors, there will always be some issues and I’m thankful that Eileen was able to coordinate with them well, find solutions to address the issue or suggest alternatives, and adjust the work schedule accordingly so that the project can progress and be completed on time.
Eileen truly exceeded all our expectations with this project. We had guests visit our home and all of them were wow’ed by the design and the workmanship. If you are considering an ID for your renovation, I would highly recommend Eileen from Renologist!
