Being afraid and turning it around and learning how to deal with discomfort are only a couple of the changes and improvements I’ve felt being at Renaissance Recovery. It's difficult for me to open up and feel comfortable disclosing my vulnerability; however, since I've been at Renaissance Recovery the entire staff (I'm in the outpatient program) has been consistently friendly, professional, and supportive. Everyone I interact with has made me feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. The team took the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure I felt comfortable throughout the process. Their compassion and expertise made a meaningful difference in my experience. I'm truly grateful for the dedication of the whole staff and would highly recommend this program to anyone seeking quality care in a warm and encouraging environment. You have to put in the work, it does take time- but I'm so grateful that I'm finally feeling better about myself. I will continue to do the work and be in the program. Best of luck to anyone else going through this- there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I had a great experience at Rennesance , they were there for me when I needed them and through out my hole 5 months there. Dr Matt & my case manager Sammy were the best , they were always there when I needed them as well as so much more of the staff. I can't mention all but , techs Tommy , Judd , Eric, Shawana , Elaine , Both Anthonys , Brendan were all kind and helpful at all times. I'd also like to point out Richie director of operations and Nick , they were a huge help to My recovery. There are no words to express my thankfulness , except THANKS TO ALL.

My son is currently attending the Renaissance program for mental health. His treatment there has been truly amazing. He loves there. His case manager, Marcus, has been very supportive and extremely helpul with his treatment.. He updates me weekly with his progress, or issues that may arise . My son has been to other places, and they sent him home within a week, with no help whatsoever. He’s now been there for 4 mos or so, learning life skills that no one here in NJ could teach him. I am very greatful for this program, and his case manager!

Look no further for a true recovery facility. This place is filled with workers who actually care. They interact with the patients with care and understand. This is the only place I would want my loved one to be when fighting addiction.

Renaissance is an amazing recovery center, the community is very respectful, and the techs are very helpful, my experiences here was amazing I made a lot of new friends but most importantly I learned the benefits of living a sober and happy life, I was taught to work my twelve steps to better improve my sobriety and my spiritual growth, God played a major role in my life through my stay here I was meant to be here at the right time. I recommend if you have a loved one wanting to get sober this would be the place to be successful at.

I went here for PHP - I absolutely loved my peers but the reason for the one star review is a lot of people were continuously getting drunk / high and were given 5+ chances. Even to the point where some folks were using at the clinical building right under their noses and still were given an opportunity. Another female got drunk - wasted at that 3 different times and I told staff the last time. The staff member proceeded to tell a belligerent drunk female that I told and she started to scream at me. When I said that was inappropriate and spoke to that employee about the matter she told me I should have minded my own business. After telling the other employees I didn't feel comfortable with Elaine and asked if anybody else could take me places they would say no and try to force the situation. My discomfort did not matter. Also, I got sick and asked to go home after ordering my uber Richie (who I had spoken to maybe twice) told me I needed to submit a UA before leaving. I explained that I had already ordered the uber and was visibly ill and I asked to go home and nobody said anything about a UA prior to me leaving. I kept saying I didn't feel well and have never given them any reason to have suspicions. I told Richie I wasn't about to argue with him over my urine especially when I clearly do not look well. The case manager Sammy then proceeded to call my parents (mind you i'm 30) and gave my mom a whole panic attack because "I suspiciously wouldn't UA" and proceeded to tell my parents they believed I relapsed because of something Dr. Matt (the director) and I spoke about in confidence and did not tell them the whole story. Luckily, I was with them the whole week and they knew I was feeling sick prior to me leaving for PHP. I tried calling the Dr. Matt before leaving and he didn't answer or return my call. I told them I would not be returning and going to another facility. The same case manager told my parents I would not be happy at said facility and tried to get them to talk me out of it. Nick and Connor texted me a few times after I left trying to get me to return and when I ask for my completion letter and every time I do get crickets.

This facility is the best. If you need care for a loved one dealing with addiction, don't go anywhere else. The team here work hard to build trust with their clients and help them with individual needs. I wouldn't send my loved one anywhere else.

The team there supported me while also giving me the freedom and responsibility to decide my own path, whether that meant falling back or choosing to thrive.
