Had a booking for Labour Day long weekend.
Property apparently received water damage and they knew from Monday.
However they didn’t notify us until Wednesday leaving us with 2 days to try find accommodation for a long weekend.
Very disappointing.

Hi Jordan, we are very sorry that we had to cancel your booking due to your property having storm damage. However, we did give you 3.5 days notice, and we also provided you with an alternative of one of our best properties to stay at nearby at a discounted rate, but you chose not to because you wanted more land. We also gave you a few other options to book nearby. As we explained to you, we had a team of cleaners, electrician, carpet cleaners etc, all on standby ready to come in and perform the necessary work, as soon as the insurance company approved them to, which would have meant your booking could have gone ahead. But when the insurance company had not shown up for their scheduled inspection time, we couldn't proceed with the repairs in time for you to stay. So we tried very hard to do the right thing by you throughout this whole process. But knowing all this you still chose to criticise us in a review??? Unfortunately not everyone can be pleased.
