Had a fantastic weekend stay at tree tops, in Mt macedon absolutely stunning location and the rental was on point with having the accommodation nice and warm for our arrival.
Very comfortable and appropriate all the little extras they provided

Nice little getaway
☺ Awesome place on a massive piece of land, was really nice for a couple days getaway, we found the place easily and had a great time there many kangaroos outside hopping around. Cooked up some brekkie and sat outside was really serene, would definitely stay again.
☹ Nothing.

We had a fabulous weekend at Corlara. The quiet, private surroundings were stunning. It was lovely to sit by the fire and take in the views. The highlight was definitely the heated spa, enjoyed by all. The house is beautiful with attention to detail everywhere you look. Chris and his team were attentive and great to communicate with. I couldn't fault our stay and look forward to returning in the warmer months!

Thanks for your feedback Delyse. Sorry if the room got a little warm for your liking overnight, the floor heating sits at around 19 degrees overnight so it is not too hot but not cold.

We stayed 2 nights at Botanic House in Woodend. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was so well equipped and the underfloor heating in the ensuite bathroom was very much appreciated on a cold morning. When we arrived the heating and lights had been switched on for us which was a welcoming touch. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Woodend or the Macedon Ranges.

We had a lovely couple of days at WillowGlade. The property itself is well set up with the cozy fire and fabulous gardens.
We loved the proximity to the local Trade Post store and pub. We will stay again! Thanks to Chris for all his information too and prompt replies to queries.

At Cobaw Views, a Mt Towrong retreat, we had the most amazing stay. The place was incredibly spacious with a wonderful indoor fire.
There is plenty of separation between the main bedroom and the other bedrooms and the kitchen and laundry are fantastic.
The views from every part of the house are spectacular. Would definitely recommend this place to others .

Relaxing refreshing and modern
☺ We loved our 2 nights at HRV, especially the fire pit on a chilly night with the stars overhead.
The heated floors kept the rooms cosy. The provided snacks and food prep equipment was an unexpected bonus!
The location is good, a quick drive to local towns and sights.

Unfortunate unusual incident occured.
I was told after checkout pet urine was left on floor with paper covered on top to try soak it up.
I don't own any pets and no pets were brought to the property.
Was a nice stay overall, withstanding slight urine smell which I initially just brushed off as given with a property that allows for pets.
Something to be aware of at checkout or if you're sensitive to pet odor or general pet allowed environments.

That's an interesting version of the story Albert. These are the facts: -
Albert left our property a mess, and left doors wide open. There was fresh urine on the carpet still wet after his 4 night stay (he even had tried to soak up some with toilet paper left on it when our cleaners arrived), yet he tried to blame us for it to get out of paying the modest damage deposit. He used multiple beds even though he only paid for 1 guest, and denied having extra attendees to get out of paying for the extras. He had previously tried to cancel last minute on the day of arrival, but kept his booking when we advised it was non refundable.
Our otherwise outstanding reviews show the venue is not the problem on this occasion, but one bad guest. Albert is not welcome back.

We stayed at Willowglade Retreat and Gardens in Mount Macedon for three nights, and it was pure bliss! If you're looking for a relaxing weekend in nature, this is the perfect spot. The house was warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The gardens are lovely, and our dog had a fantastic time exploring. If you want to venture further, the farmers markets are wonderful, and there are delicious places to eat, such as the Trading Post Cafe or Mt Macedon Pub. You can also explore further afield to Woodend or the nearby wineries like Mt Macedon Winery, Mt Towrong Vineyard, or Hesket Estate. It's an ideal spot for a long weekend escape.

We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend in beautifully appointed accommodation in a lovely, peaceful environment.
☺ Lovely location with serene views across the countryside. Very well appointed, warm and very comfortable. Included breakfast was plentiful. Shared lounge area was very nicely furnished and encouraged relaxation. Contactless check-in and departure was most efficient; good communication from host. Loved the views of the kangaroos around the property.
☹ Minor issue -Tap to the bath was broken and water didn’t run hot sufficiently to fill.

Beautiful peaceful location
☺ The location was very nice and relaxing looking out over countryside towards Hanging Rock with a bunch of kangaroos hanging around every morning and evening.
Facilities were great, had everything we needed and more. Breakfast provisions were very good and plentiful.
☹ There was nothing we didn’t like!

Our family had a lovely stay at Hanging Rock Views. We had a toddler and they willingly accommodated our need for an additional bedding. Thankful for friends’ recommendation because this place was indeed beyond beautiful. You get to wake up to kangaroos hanging out front and the magnificent view of Hanging Rock partially covered with fog.
What stood out for us was days prior to our reservation, they sent us cafe and restaurant recommendations nearby. I didn’t even have to do our research. They really made our stay a breeze! Couldn’t recommend them high enough!

Relaxing panoramic view
☺ Loved the location out-of-town, and the view, especially all the kangaroos and bushland. The accommodation was lovely and food provided for breakfast very nice. A nice set-up and comfortable amenities. We did not use the large shared kitchen/lounge this time, but would be great for couples travelling together.
