Properly helpful and generous with their time.
I called Regal to ask whether they offer watch authentication services as I bought a watch online from someone else - they don't offer an official service, but Mark still spent a good 5–6 minutes on the phone walking me through how to carry out a preliminary visual inspection myself and what red or amber flags to look out for.
He had absolutely nothing to gain from helping me, which made it all the more appreciated.
I'd spoken to several other jewellers who simply said “No, we don't offer that” and left it there, so Mark and Regal really stood out here.
