I just wanted to share a huge thank you to the amazing team at Reform Yu Pilates for carrying me through these last three months Abi, Gabi, Madi, Sarah, Natalie, Mia and Rhiannon I've had the pleasure of. You’ve each made such a difference. I genuinely look forward to every class because of you all. You push me, challenge me, make me work hard, and somehow still leave me feeling incredible afterwards. I fully enjoy every session, and it’s because of the energy, encouragement, and expertise you each bring.
A special thank you as well to Oli and Lucy for creating such an incredible studio. The space feels calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, and it’s clear you’ve put so much love into building a place that supports both body and mind. You’ve truly employed the best of the best.
So grateful for this community, thank you for keeping me motivated, strong, and smiling. 💚
It’s a gorgeous space and I enjoyed the class. I think it would be better if the beds were staggered more so that when you’re opening legs wide you don’t kick the person next to you. Also, you would be able to see yourself better in the mirror as you wouldn’t be directly behind someone (when doing the inner thigh work for example). The instructor was lovely and very clear but it would have been nice as we were walking in if she had said welcome, introduced herself and asked our names, especially as new customers, and just a general, put your shoes and stuff in the shelves near the door and hang your coats up etc. Just constructive feedback, as again I did enjoy the class. Although I enjoyed the music, I think there were too many vocal tracks that felt like the instructor was trying to compete with the music rather than teach alongside it. It wasn’t that the music was too loud, just like two people talking at once over the top of each other. I try not to use single use wipes, cute little spray bottles and cleaning cloths would feel more premium and better for the environment. Also, if we are doing work that faces one side, it would be helpful to do the side facing the mirrors first so you can check form before moving to the side without a mirror.
