I have utilised Matt twice now, once for an ordinary refinance which was really successful. He made the process smooth and easy, was patient and always made himself available for us to answer any questions. We felt looked after through the whole process and he kept in touch with us. After a couple of years our honeymoon rate expired and Westpac wanted to rip us off and fix the loan with them (we have had 2 full interest rate cuts in the 6 months since) so we went with his expertise and this time he set us up with a second pre-approval for an investment property and a line of credit with multiple offset accounts. Once again he guided us through the process like a true professional and we are extremely happy with how this company looked after us.
The service provided by Matthew was outstanding. He helped us on every step of our, quite long, journey through pre-approval and settlement. Matthew always had time to answer any form of weird question I sent his way, always with professionalism and a smile. As a broker you were able to speak both 'bank' and 'our' language and translate everything into easy to understand and apply processes. You are a legend and we have you to thank for our new home!

I recently found out that the employee who handled my loan application with excellence and professionalism was fired just three days before Christmas. This news left me highly disappointed and saddened. This young man provided exceptional service, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of his work. The reason given for his termination was “underperformance,” which I find hard to believe based on my experience with him.
What makes this even more disheartening is that this is a small company, and the decision to let someone go so close to Christmas shows a lack of compassion and care. The impact on him and his family during a time that should be about hope, love, and togetherness is devastating.
This action has left me questioning the values of the business owner. It’s disappointing to see a company treat its employees this way, especially one that I trusted to handle something as important as my loan.
