I’m absolutely thrilled with my cutting board from Redwood Burl! The quality is outstanding. The board is stunningly beautiful, with a unique grain that makes it a standout piece in my kitchen. It’s incredibly sturdy and well-crafted. I've been using it heavily for months, and it shows barely any scratches or wear. This board is both functional and a work of art. We absolutely love our unique, natural one-of-a-kind redwood burl console that is in our entryway!! The grain is stunning and the burl live edge speaks volumes! We’ve had a number of contractors and guests over that either work with wood now or have in the past. They have been greatly impressed with this redwood burl. Originally this piece had a couple of cracks along the left hand side. So we took it to a woodworker who filled the cracks (which now looks like part of the wood), then we sanded down the whole top, put sealant around all four sides and the live edge burl, and then put a few coats of water-based satin polyurethane on top. Originally we put oil-based satin poly on top but didn’t like how intense the sheen was which took away from seeing the grain. We did not put any polyurethane on the live edge which creates a beautiful contrast between the wood grain on top having a satin finish and the burl edge. We added a simple black granite for the base to keep with the natural theme, which also blends so the redwood burl can be the focal point. Again it is stunning!! It was fantastic working with the Redwood Burl Inc team also. This purchase has been one of my favorite and we are extremely proud of showcasing this piece and telling of it’s story.

I contacted Landon and this company about 9 months ago . I wanted a burl for a thick (sit/stand ) desk top. I selected the one I liked . their was no rush on my end . the company took time out to take pictures of others closely related just so I could see a few more to know I was making the correct choice. dealings with them are easy straight forward and he is a very understanding person. once I did select , they prepped the live edge and got the burl ready for shipping. (I am in the heart of Boston). Landon spent time to search and get the best price possible with service for that shipping. once arrived it was packaged very well and nothing at all was wrong. when I finally finished it I sent photos to him . one of the best decisions I made was using him. The Burl itself was just amazing . i counted over 500 rings in a 20 inch width. just lovely !

I ordered a custom mantel for my fireplace from Redwood Burl, Inc. I had a great experience working with the staff to find the perfect piece of live edge wood to fit in with my home. It was a big purchase to make online, but after reading reviews and working directly with the owner I felt confident making the purchase. The mantel shipped sooner than expected and it looked better in-person than in the pictures. Wow! I was very impressed by Redwood Burl and would definitely shop there again!
