Hi Lacie, it was such a pleasure to provide you with one of our Borders. I know that you will both enjoy each other and that she will have the most fantastic life on the farm. I can't wait to see updates as she grows and matures.
As Butters was our first border collie we had heaps of questions for the team and Simone was extremely patient, knowledgeable and thoroughly answered all our questions. She was also very transparent and welcomed us to visit the facility even before we bought a puppy from them. We could see the puppies and their parents were cared for and when we got Butters home he was able to easily integrate into our family.
First time when we visited they also had a behavioural therapist on site and she helped us pick the perfect puppy after understanding our lifestyle. The aptitude test for him seems accurate so far and his behaviour at 1 year old seems to be inline with what they had assessed.
Even a year after collecting him we had some more questions and she was happy to answer and continue to support us.
Everyday he makes us laugh his goofy behaviour and yet impresses us with intelligence, trainability and his kind and loving nature with most people.
Thanks Simone and team for Butters the hilarious new addition to our family.

We have 2 pups from here and the process was a breeze! The communication is unmatched and all their pups are absolutely beautiful and come with a hefty puppy pack including all starting out essentials! I got my beautiful Possum from Redrobiena when she retired from their breeding program. Possum has brought so much happiness to my life and I couldn’t be more grateful to Redrobiena. As a retired breeding female I was so pleased to see how healthy and well looked after she was when I first met her, being such a happy, bubbly dog is a reflection of how well loved and looked after she was by Simone, Jacques and Ina while she was in their breeding program. I cannot fault Simone and the team at Redrobiena. I came across their social pages while looking for breeders near us. I followed them closely over the years and loved the engagement with the older dogs and the puppies. Knowing that they were willing to take their dogs back if circumstances changed, showed commitment to the dogs wellbeing through every stage of life. We decided to go for a meet and greet 2.5 hours away to check the setup and meet the puppies. It was well worth the travel and visit. Not owning a dog before, Simone answered all of our questions and when it came time to decide which puppy we were interested in, she provided her advice on which ones would be suitable to our home and experience. We decided that Bagel was the perfect fit and name. The way the puppies are raised really helped with toilet training at home in the early stages. Bagel loves chasing the sprinklers, sleeping on the tiles and spending time with his furry siblings. Would definitely return again to pick another puppy.

Our Ruby Rose is just over 8 months now and she is beautiful. Her initial puppy months at Redrobiena you could tell how loved her and her siblings were. Simone and the team were very friendly and are always a just an email away should we need them. Ruby Rose is very social, loves playing with other dogs, loves meeting other dog owners and loves to learn. It has been a perfect fit to our lifestyle of the city and then over the weekend at the beach. We couldn't thank Simone and the team enough.

We visited Redrobiena in Feb last year when looking for a new puppy. We had been to other breeders and even as far as South Aus. When we visited Redrobiena, we were amazed at the setup that they had. It was clean and very well maintained. The puppies had their own access to outside to individual play areas and toys to play with, they were dog door trained, and toilet trained before they were to go to their new families. When we met the puppies, it was love at first sight for Ned, our chocolate boy. He was cuddly, cute and very bright. We had Ned home with us in about a week. When we got him home, we were delighted in him. He was full of energy but also loved to be held and cuddled. Now he has grown into a beautiful young man. He loves to run when he is outside but also still loves to sit up on our laps for a cuddle. He gets along great with his big sister and loves to play. We travel in our caravan, and he has adapted to this well.
I highly recommend Redrobiena when choosing your next Border Collie puppy. From our experience their line has wonderful temperaments, extremely intelligent and of course beautiful! Thank you so much to Simone and Jacques, we could not imagine life now without our Ned.

We chose Redrobiena Border Collies as a neighbour has a beautiful border collie from there and spoke highly of the experience. I wasn't 100% sure that I wanted a dog but when I saw a picture of August on Redrobiena's social feed I fell instantly in love and started chatting to Simone.
Throughout the whole process (them qualifying me and me qualifying them) it was professional..... and exciting! When the puppy pack turned up, it was a final touch that proved I was dealing with a small business who cared very much for their animals. Everything had been considered.
I wrote recently to Simone, to tell her how happy we were with our beautiful dog, August (aka Auggie or Gus!). She has brought such joy to our lives. She is smart, very well behaved and has the loveliest temperament. A day doesn't go by when we don't laugh out loud at her antics.
Finally, with full credit to her breeding, she is such a pretty dog - we get comments on her beautiful face and colouring regularly.
I would highly recommend Redrobiena as a border collie breeder to anyone who asks!

Could not be happier with our precious girl. The team at Redrob were superb and the puppies they raise for the first 9 weeks are just exceptionally trained. They know their breeding pairs so well that they can guide you to the right fit puppy with ease. We welcomed Mila to our home in August 2024. Simone and Jacques were very accommodating when we wanted to meet the little fluffer and allowed us to spend time with her to ensure she was the right one. Our decision was quite easy after that because we could see what loving breeders Redrobiena were and how enthusiastic they were to answer our questions. When it was time to pick Mila up, Jacques was kind enough to offer to meet us half way as he was going to be at the airport anyway. Another bonus was the testing that is done which shows the puppy’s personality which I will say is very accurate. Mila is exactly as the test showed. She is calm, gentle and energetic but not overly. She is perfect and gets on well with the two cats which is a bonus. Thank you Redrobiena for our fur baby.

Bridie has been the most lovely addition to our family. Almost 4 now and is just pure sunshine in a furry body. She has a beautiful temperament, so loving and funny!

We found this breeder through a Reddit recommendation and had a really good experience. Communication was clear and upfront, and they made sure we knew what was expected before deciding to let us take her home. The place was spacious and felt like a real family environment, the dogs were socialized with kids, adults, and other dogs. Our pup came to us healthy and full of energy. With the right training and environment, she’s mellowed out and become super chill and easy to manage. She’s been easy to train and gets along with everyone.
