Amazing service, the owner and all waiters are all super nice and really create a great atmosphere. For starters palak chaat, samosa chaat, lasooni gobi were all wonderful, with palak chaat the highlight.
For mains, the pindi chole was delicious and unique, and the methi malai paneer toast was great too. Rasmalai and mango lassi hit the spot as well. Highly recommend trying this place!!!

Went for a friend’s birthday, everything was incredible. Great service, large portions, very flavorful. By the end of the meal we all felt like family!

Had a work group lunch here and it was the perfect spot! Was able to make a large reservation and the ambiance, service, and food were all great. Would highly recommend:)

We ordered the butter chicken, laccha parantha, and the goat biryani! literally some of the best butter chicken i’ve had, reminds me of what I had in Delhi. the flavor of the curry was so deep, you could taste the sourness of the tomatoes, the spices were all properly bloomed. most other places that sell butter chicken leave me feeling disappointed ( the taste being too westernized, just a heavy curry without the depth of flavor), but this one checked all the boxes for me!!!!
the biryani had that floral fragrance that comes from the rose water and kewra, so good!
All other indian places in NYC have a thing or 2 they could learn from this place
Food was so good. Customer service was really good. Overall, I would recommend anyone to try out Red Onion!

Had lunch there. Everything top shelf fresh and delicious. Their spices are imported from India so they’re very fresh and fragrant. Delicious delicious delicious.

Hands down the best Indian food in NYC!
Seriously, it's so fresh and good. They fly in all their spices direct from India. I had the chicken biryani and it blew my mind. Highly recommend!♥️

Absolute stunning atmosphere, really good food and I would rate it it 5/5 , really calm environment. Completely enjoyed the experience. Reserved a table before I went , cause it can get busy . Butter chicken and coconut rice a must .
