Hiking in a new region of the country can be daunting, especially in a volatile climate such as the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We chose to hire Redline Guiding to tackle our first 4k. Having our guide made a huge difference. I am fairly certain just finding the trailhead would have frustrated us. We had a smooth start, suggestions on gearing up, and confidence that we were on the right trail. All of these factors made our hike more enjoyable. While we did not reach the summit, that was a smart decision helped by our guide. Next time, we will hit the heights. We made it safely up and down thanks to our guide. Will 100% hire again for our next ascent.

I’m a classic case of teaching old dog new tricks. I needed to get rid of all my old school ideas and get a fresh look of current equipment and strategies. I thought about searching online through multitudes of information. I ultimately decided I would be better off going directly to people who do this for a living(the pros). This turned out to be a fantastic decision. I did a one on one class with Debra. We chatted a little before the class so she knew where I was coming from. I came away from this class with immense amounts of knowledge and some hands-on experience to put to work. I highly recommend Redline.

Redline Guiding is an amazing company the process was smooth and simple, setting me up with my guide Glenn. Which by the way is an amazing ice climber ever since I learned ice climbing from Glenn I've been able to solo up to WI67 I know, right that's pretty crazy that's how amazing this guy is at ice climbing. Also make sure to feed the T-rex lots of snacks she's probably a little hungry after being extinct for 66 Million years.

I highly recommended Red Line Guiding! They were communicative, and adaptable (able to create an experience on private land they had never explored before). Our guide, Beth, was kind, patient, and knowledgable. Great for corporate bonding experiences!

Awesome half-day winter hike Redline guiding did an awesome job accommodating our needs and planning a perfect winter excursion. We needed something appealing to a diverse group of folks, fitness-wise, and they proposed a snowshoe trek up the Black Cap trail. The weather cooperates and we had a blast for just over four hours. Their rental gear ensured everyone was comfortable and safe. Thanks again, especially to Tim and Mary for guiding that day.

Had another excellent experience with the Redline Guiding team. I called Mike (owner) to arrange a guide on short notice for a hike of Franconia Ridge. Mike and my guide Debra made the time work and it was an epic hike. Debra was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Would give more stars if I could. My partner and I took a Mountaineering course with Pat this weekend. We learned and practiced so many vital skills, and had a blast doing so! All of our questions were answered, and we both feel so much more prepared to advance our winter adventures safely. Ice axe and crampon training on a cold day We signed up for day training on crampon use and ice axe training. Mike and his team were fabulous and provided great instruction in both items. We were placed in some challenging situations and gained lots of confidence throughout the day.
