I spent months & $2000 to simply get a proposal... They initially "ballparked" the project at $800-850K. After 4 to 6 weeks turned into 8 weeks of waiting for the bid, they came back with a price of $1.2M. They say they hope to be within 10-20% of their "ballpark price" but came in 41% higher. Total waste of my time & money.

Mr. Heron,
We are sorry to hear about your experience, as that is never the outcome we want for any client. We appreciate the opportunity to review your project and prepare a detailed cost proposal. Your project involved a highly customized 3,000+ sq. ft. two-story addition, which required careful review of the plans, scope, structural considerations, selections, and allowances before we could provide final pricing.
At RBC Homes, our goal is always to provide realistic, transparent pricing and thoughtful guidance so clients can make informed decisions before construction begins. While we regret that the final proposal did not meet your expectations, our detailed process ensures we provide the most realistic assessment possible when providing proposals.
