It’s been 16 days since my hernia operation at Torrance Hernia Center. I was so apprehensive going there but my fears disappeared after getting friendly, caring attention by the nurses preparing me for the surgery.
Dr. Cohen came in to see me to greet, introduce his anesthesiologist and to describe the full process he would be taking to repair my hernias. His confidence and friendly demeanor gave me further comfort knowing that all would be well when he had finished. The anesthesiologist doctor was also friendly and confident and explained the process he would be doing for the general anesthesia I would be going under.
I was rolled into the operating room where I met the O/R nurses who would be assisting Dr. Cohen during the surgery. One asked me what kind of music I would like to hear but the first song hadn't ended before I went under the spell of the anesthesia. The next thing I knew when I woke up was that the operation was done!
The recovery is necessarily a longer process than I hoped but 16 days into it I am feeling much better than before the operation. I am so happy to have the operation behind me and I expect to be fully recovered in a couple more weeks.
I am grateful to have been treated at the Torrance Hernia Center by the caring and capable staff there. Doctor Cohen and his O/R team completed my surgery quickly and painlessly. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen and the Torrance Hernia Center to anyone needing hernia surgery.

I am so very happy with the doctor at R&R surgical institute. It’s so amazing what they do and how they let you know step by step of the procedure. I have 1 week that I had the gastric sleeve done and have already lost 16lb . I am so happy with my results so far. And best of all I have had no pain
