My experience is without fault, i sent a request in and was contacted straight away and given WhatsApp message. David then asked all my requests and gave me ideas, my ring was then made to my exact specifications. I have waited all my life for a ring this stunning. I love it and can’t thank David enough. I was first introduced to R&R jewelers about 14 years ago, by my friend who visits NY from Scotland frequently. On one such trip she brought me back a beautiful princess cut diamond engagement ring. Having arranged everything with my husband as a suprise.Fast forward 14 years and I got in touch with the lovely David to ask if they would make a new setting/band for my engagement ring. From start to finish, David's care and attention was second to none. He worked with me to make sure that the renderings were just right and that I was completely happy with every decision. My friend returned to Scotland today in posession of the most beautiful ring. David made sure that the ring was ready on a specified date and had my diamond reset for its return to Scotland. I went thinking about a Mossanite stone for my ring, but after stopping by several stores, he was the first one that helped me find it and even compare it to a diamond - which I eventually picked.

I bought an engagement ring from David this year. I actually had some places in mind but decided to try the diamond district before I made my final choice. The first store I happened to walked into was David’s store, and I’m so glad I did. David’s the best. He’s very knowledgeable and really took his time with me, even without a guarantee that I’d buy anything from him. I was able to tell him what I wanted without any judgement. He took his time showing me his selection and explaining to me the scales, cuts and always gave an unbiased opinion. It only took a few minutes to know I wanted to get a ring from him. If I could give a MILLION STARS, I would! Remi is such a sweetheart and I absolutely adore him and his wife (my fiancé and I also met one of his sons.) Everyone was so sweet and accommodating to my two toddler sons. At one point, when one of my sons got scared of the steamer noise, Remi- personally went eye level to my son to show him how the steamer worked; so my son would stop being scared. As a mama-bear, that’s A++ customer service!!!
I adore the fact that this is a family-owned business and that they’re very intimate and personal with their clients. May the Good Lord Bless them eternally!!
ENGAGEMENT RING: (I’ll make this a two part review).
When I previously went engagement ring shopping, I was told that I was a size 6, when Remi sized me, I was a size 4.75. (Love that they do quarter sizes!!!) I also showed him a ring that I would’ve bought on James Allen (not knowing anything about rings at all), and Remi explained in great detail why I would’ve made a poor choice- based off of the preferences I told him. For example, the ring that I would’ve bought from J.A. was single prong- meaning there was a high likelihood that the ring would’ve fallen out (which was exactly what the J.A. reviews said happened to their engagement rings. No girl wants that!)
I’ll post a part two with my wedding bands. But here’s the pics of my ring- in natural lightning and direct sunlight. Remi gave me exactly what I asked for: a dainty, yet elegant ring that wasn’t over the top LOUD, but not plain either. Remi truly is the jewelry Dr. and for now on, I’ll recommend that everyone goes to R&R Jewelers.
Edit: I’m unable to add another review so I’ll add my update. After a month of use: my ring is beautifully made, practical, and simply elegant. I say practical because when my toddler son brushes his face across my hand/ring, he never gets scratched. Again, A++ for a mamabear.
I get so many compliments on it. It really captures the relationship between me and my husband- one where he treats me like a queen and I treat him like a king.
My Fiancè and I had the most phenomenal experience at R&R jewelers, specifically with David.
