ランチで2度伺いました。12:35に到着し並んで01:25にお店に入れた日と、11:30に到着したら1番で、開店と同時に入れた日があります。
どちらも醤油ラーメンと博多豚骨ラーメンのみの在庫でした。ランチではこの2種がメインなのかな？
どちらも美味しかったです！
自分はこの行列をしてまで次回並ぶなら、次に頼むのは醤油ラーメンかなと思いました。背脂トッピングしてみようかな
レビューに『博多豚骨は一蘭より美味しい』とあったのですが、そうなのですかね？そこだけ疑問です
他の方が頼まれているシュウマイやタコ唐揚げも気になったけれど、ランチではそこまでたくさん食べられなくて残念です
ちなみに開店と同時に12名がお店に入り、自分が一番に注文した日は、食べ終わってお店をでたのが12:25でしたが、その時点でも6-7番目に入れていた1巡目のお客へまだラーメンが提供されていませんでした
なので12時の第一陣でお店に入れなかったら本当にかなり待つのだと思います

COCKROACHES.
Cockroaches are what I found while having lunch at Ramen Soshiji. I saw one on the payment counter that another customer swatted away while he was making payment, and one that crawled right in front of me while I was eating the hakata ramen.
When I brought this up to the staff, there was no apology, no offer for a refund, and no offer for compensation. This is absolutely atrocious.
When I visited Japan years ago, I experienced a very high standard of customer service, so I had similarly high expectations when I found out that Ramen Soshiji was Japanese-owned and Japanese-operated. What I actually experienced at Ramen Soshiji was shameful.
The cockroaches were crawling around the area where the chopsticks, spoons, cups, and condiments were placed.
For there to be such a lack of a reaction to a something that, in my view, so profoundly endangers food safety has left me in a state of shock.
To the owner of Ramen Soshiji, I am so sorry that I have to write this review, and I hope that remedial actions are taken to resolve this.
If nothing is done about this situation which nobody working in the restaurant appeared to take seriously, I will have no choice but to report this to the Singapore Food Agency.

I am very sorry for your experience at our restaurant. I cannot imagine what it must have been like to have discovered the cockroach on table. I apologize profusely. We have never had that happened before, and we pass our health inspections with flying colors. After your experience, I made sure to look closely at the kitchen. We also hired an pest control exterminator to come on the day after tomorrow. I want to assure you we are doing everything to fix the problem you experienced and making sure it does not recur.
I know that you may never want to revisit our restaurant again, but I do hope you will reconsider. If you do, please let us know, we refund today's bill and offer some for a complementary. You can also ask for me personally if you have any further problems. We appreciate your patronage and feel so embarrassed by the incident that occurred at our restaurant.

Great ramen and the shiumai was delicious, but not sure if worth the 1h+ wait...

By far the best ramen shop i have been to in Singapore. Only problem is the long waiting time. They let in customers in batches and the shop could only sit around 12-13 pax. For reference, on a weekday at 830pm we had to queue for 45 mins.
Firstly, the ambiance is amazing, felt like i was transported into japan. Shop is cozy, with each batch of customers being only about 12-13 pax.
Ramen was amazing. Ramen was so good that we had to try all 3 ramen they had to offer.
Firstly, the ginger shoyu is very unique. It is rich in umami flavour from the pronounced soy sauce taste. Yellow Noodles were springy and full of flavour. Char siew was tender and fatty. The broth is bursting with flavour and is the best shoyu broth i have taster.
Next, my personal favourite is the tonkotsu broth. The broth is extremely flavour, with lots of rich pork flavour in it. The broth was creamy and thick as well. It had a slight hint of spice which i quite enjoy. The noodles are the thin ones, which are my favourite as well. Seaweed was crispy too.
The last ramen, felt like a blend between the ginger shoyu and tonkotsu. Not mind blowing but still a very decent bowl of ramen.
Siew mai at $10 is a must get. It is generous with pork filling and filled with juices, not too dry on the inside. Skin was also thin and just right.

Nice authentic ramen at Orchard Plaza! Loved their Tonkotsu and Ie-kei.
Personally, the strong version of their Ie-kei was too salty for me, other than that, the noodle texture was perfect.
Note that queue may take 30 mins to 1 hour because of the limited space/seatings!

Very fragrant and balanced shoyu ramen, I love it when it's not overly salty and perfectly balanced. Be prepared to brave the crowd and wait.
I think their ramen some are seasonal, so you might want to check ahead of time what you want to try

The ramen was so good and affordable....
Everyone working there was Japanese makes me feel like I in Japan, Shoyu Ramen I had was one of the best Shoyu ramen I had noodle soup to perfection and charsiew sooo thick
And the Hakata Tonkatsu Ramen like Ichiran ramen tastes thick soup extra firm noodles so amazing recommend to come here really... I had 2 bowls of ramen and it show how delicious and nice it is.. Taste 10/10 Price 9/10, Authenticity 100/10, Love the music played and the setting is very Japan like on counter top table.
I will come back here always to reminisce myself in Japan and eat good authentic ramen. Keep it up💪💪💪

The food here is definitely great but waiting is the main pain point of my experience here. It’s unavoidable due to the small space in the restaurant, so do take note of and prepare for long wait times. The restaurant also feels a little cramped because of that.
Still, the staff are very polite and friendly, making the dining experience pleasant. After placing my order through QR code, I got my food within 5 minutes! The tonkotsu ramen was delectable though the broth ends up being a little 𝘫𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘬. The pork was lean and did have a certain smell that I wasn’t the biggest fan of, but it’s not a big issue. My favourite part of the meal was the ajitama egg! It was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.
I would prefer if you didn’t drop by so the queues don’t get any longer than they already are, but do check this place out for great ramen at a reasonable price! Would definitely visit again!

came on a friday at 5.25pm and we were already the 11/12th in queue. diners go in batches of 12 people and it takes around 30 minutes for the next batch of people to go in.
it feels exactly like a ramen shop in japan (and a lot less smelly) the space is cosy, counter seating on high chairs with free delicious barley tea and lots of condiments available. they also offer free garlic to put in your ramen! got the tonkatsu ramen — the portion was just right and the meal was delicious! the soft boiled egg was perfect too.

Reminded me of the small ramen shops in Japan in the side streets so nostalgic seems like their ginger ramen is popular so maybe next time . The hakata tonkotsu delicious

Superb legit flavourful 10/10 Tonkotsu broth ramen.
Do check out their Instagram page @ ramen_soshiji.sg - they will update daily posts on the ramens they will be serving on that particular day.
Visited on a Wednesday evening - started queuing at 612pm and exactly 40 mins we got a seat! It’s a tight-spaced shop with limited seating yet cozy and calm in the restaurant.
You can constantly smell the broth while you wait for your food 🥰
Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen: 10/10 it’s simply too good, the broth and the extremely soft tender moist clean-tasting charsiu. The broth brings a unique sweetness and just the perfect hint of spice from the red sauce… perfect! 🤩
Shumai (side dish): 3 pieces of delicious gigantic shumai/燒賣 - freshly steamed make-to-order. Light yet flavourful fillings!
Will visit again and again and again!!
