I am so grateful for the professional support that I received from Dr. Nelson and his staff after my surgery. I was scheduled for shoulder surgery and I was expecting a 3-4 week recovery. In two weeks time I felt such relief from pain that I had endured for two years. Pain does not have to be endured, it can be corrected.
I was in horrible pain with my left arm and Bone and Joint were able to see me same day! I was seen by Dr Nelson who was so compassionate and gave me an injection and prescription of steroids which I did not have to take thanks to injection! I have seen Dr Nelson now 2 times in past year! Great doctor!! Thanks so much!!
I have had both my rotator cuff’s repaired and my left wrist repaired by Dr. Nelson. He takes his time explaining the surgery and any recovery so you can make an informed decision. He explains what he finds during the surgery in a way you can understand it. As you can tell I would go to him again if I need to.

I have dealt with carpal tunnel for over ten years. Dr. Nelson was very professional and proficient. The members of his office staff were helpful and kind. Setting up the procedure was very easy; there was great communication and the process from consultation to surgery was executed in a timely manner. The procedure itself was a piece of cake! I had both hands done at the same time! Each hand took approximately 20- 25 minutes and the procedure was virtually painless. Recovery time was also minimal. I had surgery two weeks ago today. I have had absolutely no numbness, burning, or tingling in either hand! I experienced some pain and soreness but compared to other surgeries, recovery was fairly easy! I highly recommend Dr. Nelson if you are contemplating carpal tunnel surgery for a less invasive and pleasant experience! You can’t go wrong with Dr. Nelson!
