Thoroughly recommended I am very happy to recommend the assessment that we had with Kier. I couldn’t find any local dyscalculia assessors and was apprehensive about an online session but was very pleased with the experience and result. It was easy to book and Kier’s communication was clear and prompt throughout. Before I even received the report I had found the actual experience of observing the assessment hugely helpful to understand my daughter’s strengths and challenges. We do homework together every week but I’ve never spent such a concentrated time doing maths together. I am so used to supporting her to get to the right answer, that to see what she could and couldn’t do independently was invaluable. I can’t believe how well she did to get through it all and that was in part down to Kier’s friendly and calm manner. The thoughtful and detailed report that we received will be genuinely useful to us and I will make good use of all the resources that Kier signposted us to. It will be really helpful to use the report to start a conversation with my daughter’s teacher and SEND co, especially ahead of her SATS year. I can also see how crucial it will be with the transition to secondary school. Finally I really appreciate the tone of the report and it has some lovely messages to share with my daughter to help her understanding.

Exceptional professional, valuable and friendly process An exceptional service from the outset. Early communication was very professional and informative. On the day of the assessment Keir put our son at ease and talked him through the process step by step, checking his understanding of what he was doing and why. Our son is in Year 13 and doing his A Levels. Keir treated him as an intelligent young adult and he really appreciated this. He was also hugely relieved to understand why he had found certain things challenging. The report we received after the assessment is excellent and so helpful for our son, his college and his future studies. A huge thank you from all of us!

I would highly recommend Keir, he has now seen both my daughters and provided dyslexia and discalculia diagnosis full reports. His communication before the appointments is exemplary and he travelled both times to my home address putting my children at ease whilst he conducted the tests. Kier assessed my daughter, he gave a very thorough assessment, he put her at ease, as she was very nervous on arrival, Kier met me afterwards and gave me a verbal diagnosis, to put my mind at ease, then sent through the diagnosis which was very detailed, which after many years answered all the questions and worries I had, thank you Kier I would highly recommend, hence the 5 star rating

Keir responded very promptly to our initial request and was able to offer an assessment at our home straight after my son had an eye test (which was required). Keir has a very friendly and kind nature, which put my son (aged 8) at ease straight away. My son really enjoyed the whole testing experience with Keir, which made the process so much easier for all. Keir spoke very kindly at the end with my son to go through the results. Both myself and the teachers thought Keir’s final report was very thorough and explained the diagnosis very clearly. I would highly recommend Kent Dyslexia.

Keir was helpful and informative from our very first enquiry; our daughter's school had led us to believe that getting a diagnosis would be a lengthy battle but that could not have been further from the truth. The appointment was arranged via email and any queries/concerns I had Keir responded promptly and put my mind at ease. Our daughter found the assessment itself to be quite entertaining in places and actually really enjoyed herself; asking if she could come back again for another go! The outcome was provided to us via an in depth report which provided detailed analysis of the assessment results, advice and guidance going forwards for both at home and in education. We would recommend Keir to anyone thinking about a Dyslexia assessment; he is amazing at what he does.

Keir’s rapport with my very nervous son during the assessment was excellent. The in depth assessment report provided by Keir has been key to my sons transition into Secondary school. To finally receive a Dyslexia diagnosis means he is gaining access to all the extra support and understanding available from the Senco team. The diagnosis for him personally has had such a positive impact on his self esteem, confidence and mindset. To watch his barriers towards learning come down after all the years of struggles during primary school is amazing! For us as a family it has made a real life changing difference, I now watch my son finally after 7 long years enjoy going to school and confidently say ‘I am Dyslexic’ with the self understanding to ask for help, ask for things to be explained clearer, ask for a break when it’s overwhelming. I can not recommend Keir enough for anyone thinking about an assessment for their child!

Keir made my daughter feel at ease she suffers with anxiety and was soo nervous about the assessment but withing 10-15 minutes she was realy relaxed. Keir visited our home and worked with my son to assess his needs. My son, 7, was comfortable and happy to work with Keir on his own in our home office. Keir provided immediate feedback after the assessment and then quickly followed this up with a detailed written report. These outlined his findings and included recommendations for my son's future learning. Learning gaps were identified and action appropriate tasks were recommended. This gave me the knowledge and confidence to approach my son's school to discuss the findings of Keir's assessments and a way forward for the school to support my son in his learning journey. I have read Keir's report and have already ordered some recommended resources to support home learning. I do not hesitate in recommending Kent Dyslexia in easing your worries about your child's learning gaps/difficulties and how to best support them at home and in school.
