Good product does what it says just don't expect miracles
Recently bought a van and it came with a stone chip. Dealer was happy to replace the screen but there was a delay in getting it and had a road trip coming up. So having used a repair kit many moons ago on a xr3i that stopped any further damage and lasted till I sold the car I thought to try this.The most important thing to understand is the chip or cracks will never "disappear" if you expect that youll be disappointed, the main reason for the kit is to fill in the damage to avoid water and dirt getting in especially for temperature changes which would cause it to crack further.Its easy to use if you follow the instructions and theres 100s of youtube videos for the product. Sealed the screen and is smooth to the touch.

Cracked windscreen
I saw the reviews where reviewers had said this product made a chip worse by introducing a crack. I thought that must be because too much pressure had been applied so I was extra careful. With very minimal application to a stone chip the windscreen still cracked. Wasn't an MOT failure before but after using this product the windscreen now is. I now have the cost of replacing the windscreen.

On a ici un spray avec un produit censé rénover les plastiques et caoutchoucs intérieurs et extérieurs, sans parler de la protection UV après application, qui ne m'intéresse pas.Pour ma voiture, plusieurs éléments ont souffert d'une exposition prolongée au soleil, sans parler du risque pour certains joints apparents. J'ai donc voulu tester ce produit. Au lieu de pulvériser directement et de projeter des particules partout, j'ai choisi de pulvériser sur un chiffon pour ensuite étaler le produit. La première chose qui frappe, c'est le changement de couleur dès la première passe, très impressionnant.Est-ce que ça tient dans le temps ? Pour le moment, cela fait plus d'une semaine que j'ai traité et le plastique est en bien meilleur état qu'à l'origine.Pour moi, ça a fonctionné, reste à voir dans le temps, mais pour le moment très satisfait.

Not just for windscreens
This is great stuff, have been using this for at least 3 years, not just on our car windscreens, inside & out. But to clean our house windows too. Great smear free gloss finish, that lasts through rain & shine. Needless to say, it greatly reduces the need to clean our windows. Then there are other uses indoors. It's great on cleaning mirrors & picture glass too, again long-lasting & smear free. Our shower, great for cleaning the glass enclosure & simple to just squeegee down the glass after showering, near on eliminating streaks & water stains. Very good screenwash
I use Rain-X on my car so I use this to top up the finish when cleaning the windscreen whilst driving. It works very well and doesn't deteriorate the water repellency, unlike other screenwash brands, therefore the finish lasts longer. Easy to use and 5L lasts months (depending on individual usage). This won't apply a water repellent layer to your windscreen, for that you need the actual Rain-X spray or bottle and apply it as per the instructions. However this does top it up once applied.
