Rainmaker is a fabulous hiking adventure. Beauty of all the scenic trails, swinging bridges and inviting waterfall and pools tops off this experience. The lunch post hike was good. Definitely would recommend this !!

Visited end of November. 8/10 would recommend Rainmaker. I would say it's better than Antonio Manuel National Park. You see just as many animals as you would at the National Park maybe even more because you don't have the same crowds. If you want less crowds come here. The suspension bridges are fun for all ages and the views are great. There are a lot of steps so if you have bad knees or out of shape it may not be for you. My 1yr old and 5 yr old did it just fine. There are many swimming holes/waterfalls you can stop and swim in and cool off. We saw poison dart frogs, beautiful blue butterflies, and a few other frog species we didn't know. We would 100% come back to Rainmaker. Go early because the temps aren't as bad and you're likely to see more animals and critters in the morning.

We went in dry and came out soaked and revitalized! The day we went we had almost the entire place to ourselves, just one other couple. There's a reasonable amount of hiking with vertical, and the suspension bridges were fun to cross. I'd recommend this as an excellent day trip from Quepos

A Beautiful and Nature Experience at Rainmaker Rainmaker Nature Trail was a highlight of our time in Puntarenas. The trail offers an impressive mix of wildlife and scenery. We spotted dart frogs, small mammals, and enjoyed stunning views of rivers and waterfalls throughout the walk. The full loop took us just under three hours at a relaxed pace. Some sections of the trail are steep, so I would describe the overall difficulty as moderate, but the pathways and bridges are well maintained and easy to follow. The admission fee felt very fair, and there was no need to reserve in advance, which made planning our day simple. The facilities at the entrance were also appreciated. Clean bathrooms and a large open-air café made for a comfortable start and finish to the hike. I highly recommend Rainmaker to travelers looking for a rewarding nature experience with plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery.

We did the atv tour and our tour guide was Oscar. This was an exceptional experience to say the least. He was a great instructor and took us on an unforgettable ride.

We did both a night walk and a day tour here, and both were fantastic. If you want to spot wildlife, having a guide is definitely recommended, but even without one, the hike through the reserve is very beautiful on its own. The reserve is not very large, so there’s no worry about getting lost, and the trails are well maintained. Swimming under the waterfall is allowed and incredibly refreshing!

Muy padre experiencia, hay puentes colgantes y varias cascadas, es muy poco caro pero vale la pena. Recomendación: vayan muy temprano, se disfruta más. Las instalaciones son amigables para personas de la 3era edad.

Visiting Costa Rica with my husband and another couple and they wanted to try an atv tour. I had a preconceived notion of a dusty long line of atvs slowly seeing the sights. That is not this tour. It was high speed, mud puddles, river beds, full excitement. My group absolutely loved it! ATVs were in great shape and the guide gave us a great tour! We will continue to talk about this tour and how much everyone loved it! Highly recommend!

Nice hiking spot. 27$ is a little bit to much.

It was a really great experience! The park is beautiful with such a wide diversity of trees and plants. The waterfall pools are fun too! I chose to take the bridges trail to river trail and I’m glad I did. There are some steep stairs, so I was happy to be going down instead of up the stairs.

Staff was super helpful when we were there waiting for a tour. They were very knowledgeable and had free Wi-Fi. The food was delicious as well, serving us a traditional casada (rice, plantain, beans, salad and a protein of your choice). It also came with ice tea. The surrounding area is beautiful with lush jungle all around. Top choice, really recommend
