Last year, I contacted Restoration 1 during a very stressful time in my family's life. My elderly father had just been hospitalized, and his house had water damage, mold, and rodent damage that needed remediated. I called and spoke with Elizabeth Plein. From that moment on, she handled everything. Her communication was par excellence. She explained their services and standards, and coordinated every step of the project with me over the phone. This was such a relief, as I lived in another state. I trusted them implicitly and they did not disappoint. They exceeded every expectation and met every need that I had.
Restoration 1's service did not end when the physical work at our property was completed. The company is full-service. Elizabeth continued to support my family as we filed a claim with our homeowner's insurance policy, providing the reports and photos that I needed to submit. Nine months after we initially hired Restoration 1, I again contacted Elizabeth during the sale of my father's house with questions the realtor was asking about their remediation work. She responded and helped out immediately.
The Plein's consistently showed me that they care not only about the quality of their work, but about their client's wellbeing as well. I felt supported, secure, and well taken care of. They also take great care of their fellow veterans, which my father is.

They refused to take any payment from me when I tried to compensate them for their time on the inspection. Where do I begin…Jason, Elizabeth, and Drew are the best! Every room in our house needed some level of mold remediation. They were organized, followed IICRC S520 standards (most importantly set up proper containment as to not cross-contaminate), and cleaned everything up good as new. I hired my own inspector to come out to do my post-remediation inspection, and a mold dog after that to double confirm it was all gone. They went above and beyond, honoring my many requests and answering all of my questions. They are knowledgeable and educated in the health side of mold illness/remediation as well. It took us trial and error with several companies before we found them and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else!

We had Jason and his wife come out to our townhouse after a water loss and took care of the mold from it. They did a great job and the places they treated look brand new. They are honest, direct, and prompt. Jason is also really easy to get a hold of, he had great communication.
