After dealing with multiple companies and getting nowhere, finding Jason, Elizabeth, and Drew was a huge relief. Our entire home needed mold remediation, and from day one they were professional, thorough, and extremely organized. They followed proper IICRC S520 protocols, set up full containment to prevent any spread, and treated our home with real care and attention to detail. They left everything spotless when the job was done—it honestly looked better than before. We even brought in an independent inspector and a mold detection dog afterward, and everything passed with flying colors. That peace of mind alone was priceless. What really stood out was how patient and responsive they were. They took the time to answer every question, explained the health side of mold exposure, and never made us feel rushed or dismissed. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with every step of the process. After our experience, I wouldn’t consider using anyone else. If you’re dealing with mold issues and want it done right the first time, this is the team to trust.

Where do I begin…Jason, Elizabeth, and Drew are the best! Every room in our house needed some level of mold remediation. They were organized, followed IICRC S520 standards (most importantly set up proper containment as to not cross-contaminate), and cleaned everything up good as new. I hired my own inspector to come out to do my post-remediation inspection, and a mold dog after that to double confirm it was all gone. They went above and beyond, honoring my many requests and answering all of my questions. They are knowledgeable and educated in the health side of mold illness/remediation as well. It took us trial and error with several companies before we found them and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else!

Restoration 1 is who you want to call when disaster unexpectedly strikes. In my case it was a failed water heater while I was on vacation. We had a water leak that caused mold damage in our laundry room. From start to finish Restoration 1 was on it. They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to their profession. Jason and Elizabeth explained exactly what needed to be done and why. We had a past experience with an uncertified contractor who attempted to do a mold remediation and he didn't even come close to doing it the proper way. We noticed signs of mold under the paint on our drywall in our bathroom and hired a mold tester who provided a lab report confirming the existence of mold in 2 areas of our house. The same company that did our test does mold remediation and quoted us a very high amount for the remediation. Their quote didn't make sense to us because although the lab report confirmed there was mold, the ranges were not that bad. I contacted Restoration 1- Avondale and shared the report with them. Jason came out to look at the areas that were tested and based on his experience, he explained the possibilities of what we may find behind the walls and gave me 2 good faith quotes , both of which were much more reasonable than the first company's quote and made more sense based on the lab results. Jason and Elizabeth came out to do the remediation and they did an Amazing job. They are so professional. They sealed everything tightly and they kept all of the areas that they worked in so neat and clean! I was really impressed. After all the possibly affected walls were removed, they were so honest and told me one area didn't even need mold remediation and that the area just had severe water damage so they would remove that whole area from the quote for mold remediation and just charge for the work they did do in that area up to that point. The other area had minor amounts of mold so they took care of that area but they also reduced the quote for that area since the mold was only in 2 small isolated parts of the wall. They showed me pictures of everything they found and explained all of the work that had to be done to make sure all the mold was removed and that the areas are treated properly. We are so grateful for Jason and Elizabeth's honesty, kindness and professionalism. They shared so much information with me so that we would also be prepared for the future if we run into new water damage issues. My husband and I will definitely recommend Restoration1-Avondale to everyone we know that might need restoration from water damages or mold remediation. Thank you Jason and Elizabeth for your honesty and kindness.
