Had a great time swimming with my family and then drove around to see all three parts of the R Ranch. We got to see the horses and the ponies and even let a donkey. What a great day.

Just spent another wonderful week at the R Ranch! My family has been coming to the ranch for many years. It is a great place for celebrating family birthdays and any special event. We have had many family vacations here. There is many things for children as well as adults to do such as river rafting, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and just sitting around the evening campfire making smores or cooking winners on a stick.
Not only is the area beautiful but the people are too. Staff are friendly and helpful and the area is well cared for and clean. I cannot say enough about Robyn at headquarters. She is always there to help and is one of the kindest people I know Tanya is a doll too!!
Our family has three generations of memories at the ranch. My grown children never knew a time when we didn’t go each year. Here's to many more to come!!
Where else can you take a horse on a guided trail ride, and then go trap shooting at the gun range, take a dip in the pool and wrap it up with BBQ at your campsite with friends and family?! I love R-Ranch Siskiyou!

It's gotten a bit run down but great place for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, kayaking and camping.

Our new General Manager, Board, Staff Members, and Volunteers are working hard to spruce up the place. Have you had a chance to see the newly painted fences by Headquarters, or the construction on the new pool building? Good things are happening at the R-Ranch this year. :)
Run down and poorly managed. It could be what all of the good reviews say - but it's not at this time. While recent wildfires have taken their toll on the property, they are easily blamed for years of mismanagement that sadly, continues to this day. Hoping things will change - signed a recent new owner and perhaps a former owner.
Great place for families, hunters, and anyone who likes camping. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It has many fun things to do like river rafting, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, swimming in the Olympic size pool, off-road trails, and during on-season many fun events for everyone to participate in. They also put on dinners throughout the year and u do pay by the plate. There are two campgrounds (Cottonwood and Klamath), the private gun range (nothing fancy its outside), headquarters, and tons of property to do all kinds of fun things on like driving off-road vehicles and hunting.This is not a regular campground you buy in to have your very own slice of paradise that you can use when you want to, this is not a time share.
