"We recently rented Pearl for a trip to Glastonbury festival and it was the best decision we ever made! The camper was fully equipped with everything we needed including some home comforts that made the week long festival that extra bit better! We loved having privacy and keeping our belongings safe at the festival! The bed was so comfortable &much needed after hours of dancing! Colleen was amazing from the moment we contacted her, super friendly & was always there to answer any questions we had! We would highly recommend renting Pearl! We definitely will be again!! "

I had the pleasure of taking Toffee off for two weeks on an epic grand tour of Scotland this July and despite the ups and downs of Scottish weather, the van was our little safe haven; especially when the outside elements were against us. Firstly, I am new to the van life and have to admit I was a tad nervous of how it would be driving and navigating the size of the vehicle and the narrow track roads you will encompass on the west coast. But, it took all of 10 mins to get over that as Toffee is a very easy and comfortable van to drive. Secondly, we found Toffee to be very well equipped with plenty of utensils you need to make it a pleasant home from home experience. An easy gas hob with grill and a great wee fridge. Some sweet personal touches we liked were some Toffees left for us, some tea and fresh coffee and a wee portable Bluetooth speaker for chilling out in the evenings. I have to say, that the van was quite high-tech in terms of its electrics and heating system but actually very easy to follow and work out: and on an occasions when we weren't sure of something, Symon, the owner, was always available, really friendly and willing to clearly guild us through any issue. I'd say that Toffee is perfect for a couple or two people. however, There were actually 4 people on our trip; my friend and our two daughters. we took a small tent with us so two in the tent and two slept in the van and there was plenty of storage for all of us! but on the drives the two back seats were great with loads of leg space and easy access to sockets so they could keep there devices charged. I can highly recommend Toffee, we really enjoyed our holiday and i can't wait to book her again for next year!

We’ve used Quirky Campers twice now and both times the process was simple and seamless. Both vans and owners were great. The variety of vehicles to choose is fantastic and locations are all over the place and so easy to search for exactly what you want. We will definitely continue to use Quirky for all our van holiday hires.

Skandi was perfect in every way. The attention to detail in her layout really maximises the space. Every detail has been thought through. She made our birthday weekend celebrations complete. Thank you Tim and Sue for letting us have her for a few nights.

We had a really positive experience booking Rua through Quirky Campers! I had a wee technical issue whilst booking and the Quirky team was super helpful and quick to help me get the issue sorted. The communication from the van owners was excellent. Rua was perfect for our first camper experience! I loved that the van was a ‘one off’ carefully designed by its owners. It was really comfortable and cosy. It great to drive. And park. Our wee dug quickly made himself at home and being able to take him on holiday was the main reason for trying van life. We’ll definitely try this again. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Quirky Campers for finding and hiring a camper. Superb service, very easy to use portal and very clear pricing and payment structure. The ability to pay deposit and having an agreed final payment date is great and everyone I dealt with was super helpful. I felt reassured that I was hiring from a reputable owner with all the checks in place, I’m sure the same applies for the owners too, assurance that loaners will be checked and payments received promptly, an excellent idea. Which leads me to my camper experience… I had the best time with Mango. Beautiful van and the most comfortable bed. Having the off grid electrics and proper shower was a godsend, and very easy to understand how to use everything. Christine and Chris were super helpful, excellent communication and very easy to do business with. Cannot recommend highly enough. I really hope Mango is available for me to take him back to Glastonbury next year !! 💙

"We had a fabulous week on the south coast in Buttercup! Rory was incredible helpful when we picked her up and showed us the ropes - she was lovely to drive and we had such a great week! Buttercup had everything we needed - on top of being clearly well loved and quirky, she had loads of storage space, well equipped, very comfy and would highly recommend!! Thank you Rory!"
