We booked Floyd last minute due to a breakdown of our campervan, and he did not disappoint! From the service received with Quirky Campers to Floyds Owners, everything was done so smoothly and efficiently. Floyd has all you need for an off-grid adventure, the battery system, heating and hot water made for a luxury we don't normally have, the bed was super comfy and spacious, and the van equipped with all the essentials for a great trip!

Perfect from start to finish! Thank you so much Lucan, Donna and Quirky Campers, for making the hire of Maureen (Doncaster) so simple and affordable. Lucan picked me up at the train station, gave me a simple run through everything and I was on my way. Not only was the layout perfect, Maureen was so easy to drive. I’ve been toying with the idea of a camper, but wasn’t sure about a longer wheel base (although I wanted the space) as I thought it would make it difficult to reverse and park etc, but the experience has shown me how easy a longer vehicle can be and definitely worth it for those extra feet. I’ve hired a motorhome before and didn’t really enjoy the experience as the excess was crazy and the owners put the fear of god in me, making me feel like I was hiring their pride and joy. Although Maureen is obviously much loved, Lucan was so relaxed about people hiring her and Quirky make the insurance process so easy and with option to reduce the excess to zero for a small charge. This was invaluable for me, meaning I could just relax and enjoy the experience. If I don’t find my ideal camper soon, I’ll be sure to call on Maureen again. Thank you!!

Fern the van is immaculate. She is beautifully designed and absolutely everything you need is on board. Rickie and Josh go above and beyond with the presentation of this van plus all the added extras. There is a shelf of brilliant travel books that point you in the right direction for amazing walks, pubs and sights, a welcome pack for me including drinks and nibbles and my dog, Ziki, had her own little selection of goodies plus a long line and tether for when we were parked up. We spent six days in Fern, visiting Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset. It was my first time driving a vehicle of this size - I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was and I definitely now want my own! Rickie and Josh have thought of everything in this van. I couldn’t fault the whole experience. A perfect snug little wooden chalet on wheels. We loved it! 🩷🐾

We had a wonderful adventure in Auri & travelled to the Outer Hebrides, stopping off at Troon, Loch Lomond, the Isle of Skye & Isle of Harris & Lewis. Auri had everything we needed and the bed is so comfortable we slept really well every night. We only stayed on one camp site and the rest was wild camping - the Isle of Harris & Lewis was particularly great for wild camping. The scenery, beaches and wild life en route were amazing, with many rainbows on the Isle of Skye. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Auri to anyone looking for comfort and a bit of luxury on their travels. Kelvin and Wee were really helpful - they responded to our questions really quickly and were a pleasure to deal with.

We had an amazing long weekend in Hepzibah. It was our first ever campervan experience and it couldn't have gone better. We were forced to make a last minute booking and the both the Team at Quirky Campers and the owners were really communicative and helpful. Thank you. We've hired a number of vans before. Here is our review of Solveig. "Perfect. Solveig is a robust van with absolutely everything we needed. She drove brilliantly - smooth and economical. The handover was great and Matt was thorough in explaining everything to us. We had lots of space, a really comfy bed, plenty of water - hot and cold, outside shower (she has both internal and external shower, but we opted for al fresco and use the inside for storage). The fridge was really efficient and kept everything cool. We had 6 nights fully off grid and didn't need hook-up at all and just needed to empty water once. Brilliant! Awning, super-comfy reclining outdoor chairs, table and loads of other accessories - fab. Oh, a final word on the lighting. Great internal lights. Magical. We really stood out in a field full of vans and she got a lot of attention - all good of course. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Perfect for exploring the South of England or beyond,with easy access into the continent. Thanks, Matt & Emma" - and everyone at Quirky Campers. See you next adventure!!

We absolutely loved hiring Wilson for our recent trip to End of the Road festival in Dorset. Teighan and Jordan were excellent at explaining everything we needed to know. They took the time to go through all the information thoroughly and were also really lovely. Wilson is a beautiful van. He's been so well designed and has everything you need. It was so convenient to use a camper van and a joy to stay in. He's also super cozy and comfortable. I have never slept so well at a festival! In fact, I slept better than I do at home! We would really love to hire Wilson again and would highly recommend!

REVIEW BLUBELLE Second time in hiring Blubelle. Just as much of a pleasure this time around as much as the first. A truly delightful home from home and a joy to drive as well. Blubelle gets lots of admiration from many people and there are always plenty of waves out there on the open highway. The best for me is sitting or lying near that wood burner for when it gets a bit chilly outside. You just cannot beat that cosy feeling! Very good indeed off grid for power and just sheer bliss all around! Looking forward to that next adventure already!!

We book firefly to take to the festival, and have to say it was tye best decision we have ever made, the van was clean and tidy , had pretty much everything we needed with it, including bedding. The bed was so comfy to sleep on , the van was a dream to drive and made for a pleasant drive there and home, it have plenty of space for all our belongings and we were able to cook in the van so made the experience so much more comfortable. The hire process was a breeze, and everything was explained before you leave making sure we new how it all work. We will definitely be hire again .

The camper van was clean and well organised with the thinks you need. Charlotte was responsive in the pre-hire period and even with a question when we were away. We were given a complete run through on how everything worked. Everything was as expected from what was advertised in the web site. If you are 2 adults I would recommend not sleeping on the bed within the camper van as this is more suited to children, it's very hard.

This was a very short notice booking that was handled brilliantly by Rickie & Josh. This was our first campervan holiday so we were very grateful for the ease of booking & the van handover from Josh. The van was lovely and clean, very well equipped and ready to go when we picked it up. When we arrived at our camp site we soon settled into van life and found 'Fern' very comfortable, practical, warm & cosy!...we wouldn't hesitate to re-book this camper and would highly recommend it.
