Food is lovely and fresh. Made to order and nicely presented. Really enjoyed our visit. Rather busy lunch service for mid week. Good idea to book if you really would like to visit. Although we did arrive on spec and were able to get a table.

Reliably the best eatery in Bassett.
We have been coming to Quercus for several months now, originally on the recommendation of family who raved about the place. We have never found the food to be anything less than excellent with the service on a similarly high standard. The menu caters for most tastes but we quickly found our favourites we keep returning too. Little touches like a shot glass of Irnbru with the Scottish breakfast are a nice surprise! We usually visit with family but I would equally recommend Quercus to those looking for a special evening meal or even a place to relax with a cuppa with your dog. Puppuccinos are a thing! Congratulations to Rob, Abbie and the team, Quercus is our only choice now in Bassett.
Fantastic. Pricey, but worth it. Brilliant attentive staff always happy to help, food is top notch, requests on changes to dishes were happily catered for, manageress ( ? ) Possibly owner) was incredibly friendly. One drawback, no cold bubbles. Well, not enough for large parties, needs more, or bigger, fridges. Apart from that, highly recommended 👌

A great addition to RWB whether just for a coffee and cake, lunch or evening meal. The food is freshly cooked and always delicious. The service is great and friendly and the restaurant always has a good feel. You may wait a little longer for the food as cooking from fresh takes longer but it is worth it. I would fully recommend trying Quercus.
First time visit to this charming bistro restaurant. Definitely not disappointed!, a lovely atmosphere with the venue buzzing with lots of diners. Friendly and polite staff including our server Alfie. Pleased to see that one of our favourite lagers ‘ Korev ‘ Cornish lager was on tap. Opted for a starter of Salt and pepper squid followed by a very tasty Quiche dish. All items of food were well cooked and presented. All in all a very worthwhile visit and enjoyable experience. Will definitely revisit sometime in the future. Recommended to visit !

Hate to leave a poor review, especially for a small business! A huge shame as I had only discovered this place this week, we live and work in the area and myself and the colleague I met were making plans to bring friends and colleagues on a regular basis.
We had 2x pots of tea and stayed for an hour. Upon paying the bill, the gent commented very loudly, multiple times about how long we stayed and only had two teas. The cafe was busy, it was hugely embarrassing! We won't be returning.
