Outstanding quality and service
Getting back into the hobby after losing everything in an apartment fire has been made so much easier thanks to this amazing shop. Their coral selection is outstanding, with beautiful quality and healthy specimens every time. The customer support is equally fantastic—helpful, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and they’ve quickly become my go-to for all coral needs. Truly a top-notch experience!

This is an edit to my original review. Let me start by saying that I've gotten tons of great corals from this place. They are the best coral store in the Charlotte-area. However, their in-store customer service has been less than ideal recently. When neither of the owners are present, it is extremely difficult to get any attention. A couple of weeks ago, I entered the store and neither of the employees that were working could be bothered to offer me any assistance. I ended up leaving empty-handed. Today, I saw a rock flower anemone listed on their site that I wanted. I made the hour drive to Mint Hill only to find out that, despite the fact it was still listed when I arrived at the store, it had been sold. As long as it took before someone actually helped me, it may have sold while I was waiting. Nevertheless, two hours of driving for absolutely nothing.
“I’m convinced Queen City Corals could package a live tornado and have it arrive unruffled. My coral showed up so perfectly protected It even had its own tiny seatbelt, it was still nice and warm even though the temps were 20F outside. I think the torch coral probably enjoyed its trip.
The coral itself? Stunning. Healthy. Practically posing for Instagram the second I acclimated it.

Normally i would be giving 5 stars, all of my other experiences with queen city corals have been awesome. I recently received a hammer that had been a gift for Christmas and a free frag that came with the order- the hammer looked rough on arrival and didnt make it long before melting, but the other frag (hollywood stunner chalice) was good although it fell off the plug during shipping. I reached out to queen city about the frag and the possibility of replacing the coral and was given a code that last 3 weeks to use upon my next order if i wanted to get the replacement coral. Unfortunately i dont buy coral too often and this was a gift so i dont i will see that replacement. :( 130$ for a Hollywood stunner- they have since also offered a code that gives 50% of shipping, which took 9.99 off. Thats 28%
I kept seeing their ads on Facebook and finally decided to give them a try. I’m really glad I did. They have a great selection, and the corals I received arrived in excellent condition. Shipping was only $35, and the pricing overall was very reasonable, especially since I ordered during the Christmas sale. I would definitely order from them again.

Love coming here with my son to pick up corals. The same very friendly person has always been there every time I have been, and is always SO helpful and accommodating! Always knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all our questions and curiosities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping by QCC, but make sure you set aside a good chunk of your day to browse their amazing farm! no space wasted for fish, just pure coral goodness!
I received my Cyber Monday Sale order today. It was on time, well packed and the corals are amazing. Probably the very best corals I've ordered online. I also had a few questions and it was promptly answered every time! Wish I loved closer, but you have a new loyal customer nonetheless. Every coral is 3/4 extended in 4 hours! Beautiful! Keep up the good work and good customer service!
got the 6 pack of ultra grade rockflower anemone they arrived quickly and healthy a beautiful assortment. Photo take while acclimating with a olight uv light not super accurate but gives a good idea ..the uv light helped alot as far as coloration for a ultra i am very disappointed. All a singel color the 2nd color is what I call clear but a tan or Grey kinda. Seemed to good of a price but having no choice in color or anything I assumed is what helped play a role in the lower price . Nothing I got looks like what is pictured not remotely. I will say they seam very very healthy . In the best shape out of any rockflower or anemone for that matter that ive orderd .. bright yellow and pink are fromqcc center 2 are old this is under 100 percent blue . They have only ben in the. Tank less the. 2 hr if they gain color i will update photos and retract comments otherwise this is my experience 11 25 2025
