Nice addition to my OPNsense setup: the official plugin for OPNsense is very easy to install and configure, and adds an additional layer of security.

At first I heard as new plugin for Opnsense. Then I had a look what Q-feeds is and discovered more. It is the organisation that keeps updated database of bad actors malware domains and IP addresses ranges and tested. It is reputable organization and their work is used by multiple other security vendors that need those feeds to provide upto date security solutions.
I personally use as home user on my opnsense firewall but it is meant to be used for businesses more than home. I am a professional security engineer and this what I do for living.

Good service at a fair price. Configured on a Mikrotik router. The DIFF script can take several hours to complete. I recommend not disabling logs during the upgrade.

Installation in OPNSense was a bit problematic. Threw several errors about a locked file during the feeds configuration. Once installed it seems to be working fine.

Easy setup and integration with my OPNSense Router/Firewall. Seems to be working well and blocking lots of undesired inbound hits.

Installed as per manual, apparently OK but nothing seems to happen, no log entries. Almost certainly user error but not easily fixed. Need to spend some brain power over the holiday period.

Worth a try, won't regret it.
So I first came across Q-Feeds when it was posted shortly after an OPNsense update where they added support to the Q-Feeds plug-in. I was curious about it. I ended up visiting their website and decided to give it a try (community edition). Quickly I realized the value Q-Feeds provides and decided to upgrade to Q-Feeds Plus. I really like the fact that they curate lists, and quickly started catching and stopping some intrusions not caught by either Zenarmor, CrowdSec, and Spamhaus. I'm really happy with the results. I highly recommend it; start with the community edition to see if it's the right fit for you. I also want to add that customer support is quick to respond to any inquiries (I messed up my initial subscription and they fixed it fast).
