LOVED our time at the Purple Palace. If you follow the google maps instructions, you'll find it no problem but it is a very steep uphill - 4 wheel drive definitely needed. The view is priceless. The large deck made for a great space to relax in the sun or shade and the pool was pristine! We had Loretta come make us a meal and it was delicious but lots of food (don't wait until your last night because you'll have left overs). We ventured out several times to local restaurants and felt safe. I would highly recommend this location.

Wonderful oasis up on the hill near Sandy Bay. Fantastic views from every room in the house and the outside areas are wonderful. We loved having the pool to float in and cool off.The villa was very well stocked and had almost everything you need . The only thing would be if there was a kettle and more toilet paper (but we had already read about that so we brought some extra with us).I would suggest getting the A/C to keep you cool at night but the fans throughout the house helped keep things comfortable.Location is great - close to lots of great restaurants and not too far from the popular tourist locations. The drive up the hill is pretty daunting at first but once you are used to it, its not so bad. Would definitely recommend this villa!

The views from the home were amazing ,we stayed for a short time ,there were 5 of us and the home was very spacious with tons of room to hang out at. the outdoors also had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the views by the pool. I felt very safe and at home ,the property and its surroundings were beautiful. my only complaint and its very minor was backing the car out of the driveway. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again next time i come to Roatan.

The house is absolutely beautiful! The views are spectacular, the home is comfortable with everything you need, and the host is very responsive to any needs. We requested an early check in and were able to do so. That was much appreciated. The area is also fantastic with several nice restaurants close by and a quick 10ish minute drive to the West End for more restaurants, activities, etc. We dove with Sun Divers in the West End and highly recommend them. Also, if you enjoy yoga, SunDowners in the West End offered a wonderful yoga class every morning on their deck. I also went to Spa Baan Suerte in Sandy Bay for a massage which was fantastic. Highly recommend bookings this house.

Honestly booking this was worth it just by the beautiful view alone and pool. This place really only has two actual bedrooms and a floor upstairs with two beds. So there is a lack of privacy if you sleep upstairs. Also this place has two showers but one is an outdoor shower and that sometimes caused issues when it was raining or there was a lot of bugs. The drive up to the place can be a little scary at night due to it being a tight mountain road and we had a large truck and sometimes had issues seeing over the hills when driving upward. Also parking can be somewhat problematic due to the road being tight and having to maneuver the car around to go back down the mountain. I would recommend using a smaller car but we manage with the truck we had. Check in was smooth and we were even allowed to drop off our stuff early. Also cooling the place down is sometimes tough during the peak hours and it can get very warm inside. Overall the view was amazing and the place was pleasant a stay.
