Very uncomfortable situation, it’s over
3 retired 70+ women out for fun day. Arrived early for tour when golf cart got there we were belittled by driver and other riders because two of us women were expected to set in very back of the cart with no shade, facing backwards and we let the owner know we did not feel comfortable/safe on those seats . The owner, driver told us very rudely that I’ll just give you your money back. Finally we stood our ground and finally were offered seats in middle of the cart but through the whole rest of our tour comments were made to make sure to let us know we were trouble maker’s between owner and the others on the cart because of our assistance of not to sit in the back. We came to have a fun day with friends, never been to Palm Springs and some others tried to ruin the day along with owner of company. It was interesting to see the different houses and hear about them, owner was very knowledgeable. I am just very glad we can chose not to spend every day with people that act like high-school bully’s and think it is ok; onto our next adventure. My friends and I travel a lot and never have ran into this kind of treatment before, I guess there is a first for everything.

Unlike flights where seats are assigned in advance, our land tours operate on a "first-come, first-served" basis. While the two backward-facing seats are preferred by some guests, we understand they are not ideal for everyone. I am very glad to hear that fellow passengers stepped in and offered to switch seats with you. Please rest assured that our team and guests would never intentionally try to ruin anyone's day.
On a positive note, I am delighted that you enjoyed touring the homes of Golden Era stars and found our guide so knowledgeable. Peter is incredibly passionate about the history of that era, and I will be sure to pass along your compliments to him.

Knowledgeable host w/great sense of humor.
Touring in the golf car was the perfect way to see the beautiful Las Palmas neighborhood where most things celebrity used to happen. The golf cart holds 5 people + guide, perfect to get your questions answered & hop out for additional looks/pictiures. Colin was extremely knowledgeable & it was obvious he had done his homework before sharing stories & experiences w/us. He’s attended multiple events, open houses, etc to provide detailed knowledge of most homes & areas. Thought the tour may have been a “star-struck” experience but it was truly interesting and informative. Once our whole party arrived, we left, giving us some extra time & Colin actually had extra to share so we went slightly over our end time as well, everyone was thrilled. Plenty of time to hop off and take pics w/out being intrusive to current owners of properties. Truly an enjoyable experience, discussing history, architecture & celebs.

A Must Do in Palm Springs!
Our guide, Peter has an amazing grasp of old Hollywood and its central role in the history of the desert. He’s also a brilliant storyteller, highly entertaining, and incredibly charming. He’s the kind of guy you just want to have over for dinner because you feel like there’s so much more to learn from him.

Great tour for historical celebrity homes
Colin was a great guide and knew much of the detailed history of the homes and area. He was friendly and easily answered our questions. The equipment used was well maintained and safe. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to the area, especially those who know some of the history of the golden age of Hollywood.

Best part of our trip
We really loved it. The owner gave us the personal tour. We actually toured Marilyn Monroe’s house. He’s knowledgeable and passionate about film and history. Plus if you ever get a dui he can help because he is a great lawyer in his professional life. We loved it.
