A massive thank you to the team who came out to replace our aircon units. I reached out to 3 ac providers in total before deciding to go with Proven AC. Ultimately, it came down to their great customer service and responsiveness. Everything was really easy and organised from start to finish. Angelo (I think that's his name) came out to do a quote and was really attentive to our requirements and gave us 3 options/quotes to consider. Angelo considered all the possibilities (e.g. potential size difference between the old and new units, new wiring, replacing something in the circuit breaker etc.) so there were really no surprises on the day. Once we decided, it was few clicks on a link and pay a deposit. Someone then contacted us within a week to schedule the installation. Communication was great the whole time, I got text messages telling me when the team was in their way (for the quote and installation). As with all tradie work, they give you a timeframe, but Proven techs call or text when they're on their way. I had to call the office team a couple times and they were very friendly and helpful too. If you don't get through on the phones, they offer a text message service which is really handy if you don't have time for a phone call. Installation day was easy. Someone came a bit earlier to drop off all the parts and the installation team arrived during the expected timeframe. They were really professional and friendly and laid drop sheets down and collected their mess as they went. We had a bit of a gap in our shutter architrave due to the size difference of our old and new units and Angelo was lovely enough to fill the gap in for us. They showed us how to use the remotes and shared some general 'how to's' with the new units, cleaned up the place as best as they could and took all their rubbish including our old units with them. The invoice to pay the remaining amount was sent by end of day of the installation. Thanks so much for a great experience and service. Finding good tradies is hard at the best of times, but I have no hesitation recommending Proven AC.

Thanks for the feedback. Our records of this job tell a different story and we need to put it on record.

When we first attended, the leak was already present and the drainage pipe under the indoor unit had already been disconnected. We have date-stamped photos and video taken on that first visit, before any of our work began. We don't dispute there is water damage. We dispute the suggestion we caused it.

The cause of the leak was a blocked drain. We did a temporary clean on the first visit to stop further water damage while the works were scheduled. Given the age and condition of the system, our recommendation was a full replacement. You chose to proceed with the premium maintenance only, which we carried out. A full drain clean was completed as part of that work. The system ran without issue for a month following completion.

The issue recurred only when fresh external debris caused a new blockage in the drainage. We returned under warranty at no charge to address it. The external cause sits outside the HVAC system and outside the scope of any work we did.

The $700 figure mentioned in the review overstates what was actually quoted. The real amount was lower and related to separate additional work, not a repeat of anything previously completed.

I cannot rate the team at Proven highly enough… Right from the get-go - with Zac who came out to check our ancient system right up to Huon & Matt who spent the day tirelessly working to remove our old system and install the new one - it has been a total dream experience. Friendly, experienced, professional and super tidy…no question was too silly and I was given a full walk through of both the all important controller inside and the outside unit before they left… When quoting, we were given 5 options to consider - starting with how we could fix our old system - all the way up to 2 options of new systems. The online system to place an order and pay is simple and again you have all the information at your fingertips to make the best decision for your home and your budget! Absolutely fantastic experience and team!!! Thank you guys!!!!!
