This business is a scam. Please do no use them for any purpose. Peter talks like a slick salesman but does not follow up on any services. My experience: After all the information and signing agreement required, they came out and put the application on my neighbors yard instead of mine. Promised to be right out to correct--never came out. Called the next day and again promised by 11:00--never showed up. Promised by the weekend--never showed up! They came when I was not at home and left card in yard but no invoice. I cancelled. From April to June no invoice so I thought everything was fine. Received notice from debit company saying I owed them. Proscape never communicated with me. Do not use this company. Scam artist!

Tim, I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience and I want to take a moment to clarify and take responsibility where we fell short.

When you first contacted us, there was a mix-up with the service address, which unfortunately led to the initial application being placed at your neighbor’s property. Once we realized that, we scheduled a re-visit. On the first attempt, our technician was out sick, and when you requested service by the next morning, heavy rain prevented us from applying the treatment safely. Where I failed was in not communicating those delays clearly with you, and I understand how frustrating that must have been.

Regarding your concerns with invoicing and communication: we did send multiple email and text reminders, but I understand that automated messages can look impersonal or even suspicious, especially with the volume of scams out there. That’s something we will continue to improve on so that our customers feel informed and valued.

We appreciate that you settled your account and that you took the time to share your feedback. While I regret that your experience didn’t meet the standards we set for ourselves, I want to assure you, and anyone reading this, that your concerns have been heard, and we are taking steps to ensure better communication and follow-through in the future.

Proscape drives all the way to Zionsville for our lawn care and we have been their customer for years now. The guys, especially Andrew and Cameron, are very understanding of the needs of our grass. Peter (President) is so easy to get a hold of and super helpful and considerate when taking care of our finicky lawn. Our neighborhood has a lot of clay and rocks, poor soil in general, and if lawns in our area are mowed too short and too often, they have trouble growing and end up going dormant and yellow. An eyesore. Once we figured out a watering schedule (Peter and Andrew also gave us tips for this), the guys handled the mowing height and trimming and we now have such a great looking, happy and healthy lawn even during the hot, dry summer seasons. Included some pics of Proscape’s work from today. Look at those CRISPY edges and evenness of the cut. They also alternate the mow pattern (horizontal, vertical and sometimes diagonal) to help with maintenance. They trim around the deck in the backyard as well as along the house and outside A/C unit. In our experience, Proscape is mindful of neighborhood traffic so they always park in front of our house and have never blocked driveways. Seems more like a neighborhood’s car volume issue rather than a Proscape issue. We have many young children, dogs and elderly regularly walking around our block and their parking is never “dangerous.” (I’m referring to someone else’s negative “review” regarding Proscape’s trucks.) Plus, the guys are nice enough that they’d move their trucks if asked. Highly recommend Peter and Proscape! They are very understanding and open to listening to all of our concerns or worries with our sensitive lawn.
