We arrived here for a 3 night stay after staying in Sirmione and initially felt that the energy level was not as high as we had experienced in the bustle of Sirmione. However, as we discovered that this is part of the charm of this fantastic place. When we arrived the courtyard was full of spectacular supercars and discovered that this is a not infrequent situation as the villa and its Michelin starred restaurant is a key stopping place for many car rallies. The villa is beautiful and situated very picturesquely in the middle of vineyards, from which they make the wine you can drink whilst there. The only downside is that the main pads are visible from the hotel, somewhat breaking the country idyl. The energy and welcome in the reception is a bit of a downer and needs to be addressed as it does not reflect the overall tone of the place. The room we had was fantastic and the bed really comfortable. The gardens are lush, rich with mature shading trees and has a really nice mature feel about it. The entire building is lovely, the bar has a great feel And the spa is a little gem. 2 things really kick this place into high levels of excellence. The first is the staff. Christian in the restaurant could not do enough for us and made us feel very welcome and looked after. He followed up on all occasions and served in both the hotel restaurant and the Michelin starred restaurant. His wine recommendations were welcome and excellent and the smile and enthusiasm with which he tackled our every need was fantastic. Jennifer also looked after us really well. Whether it was cappuccinos on the terrace, a glass of wine, or some water she delivered with a warmth and smile that made you feel special. The pool is a delight and the little gym that is attached to the pool bar seems well equipped. Mario, who looked after the pool bar when we were there, was a joy and more amused by our erroneous request for a margarita than offended by the misunderstanding (he delivered a delicious pizza when we had meant the cocktail - a poor error on our part, but quickly and charmingly rectified!). Paolo Consolini, the guest relation Manager, is a joy and will fill your day with conversation about the building, its history, the previous owners and visitors, how to get to Verona, how to arrange to stay at the villa and have an evening at the opera in the Verona arena and so on. These three people especially added a dimension to our visit that will ensure we return. We had dinner one night in the Ristoante Oseleta (Michelin starred) which was superb. That said, you must try the pasta carbonara in the main restaurant - it was astonishing amongst a range of fantastic food. All in all this place is a little gem. The environment of the building is enhanced by the food on offer and underpinned with some great service. Have knocked one star ff the service for the reception which needs a lift in tone.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Interessant für Gäste, die nicht nur nach Verona sondern auch zum Gardasee wollen.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Cordevigo. We were disappointed that no one gave us a quick tour and explained the amenities on arrival. The grounds are gorgeous with so many plants and statues. There is a short walking trail around the property that takes you through some of the vineyard and has a nice panoramic viewpoint. In addition to the beautiful pool, the villa offers wine tasting, bikes for rent, and a nice spa. We did a massage on our last evening, but we were unaware of all the spa amenities that are available to guests so did not allow time to enjoy. The food was delicious. They offer a very large breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the four course dinner with wine paring. Our room was very spacious with a nice shower, but our bed and pillows were extremely hard. We had very relaxing days but restless nights. They definitely need to upgrade the mattresses and pillows.

Una magnifica esperienza in una dimora storica del sedicesimo secolo. Lusso e raffinatezza saranno ovunque. Le suite sono tutte rinnovate e spaziose. Il giardino immenso vi permetterà di fare lunghe camminate. La villa è tutta da scoprire e da farsi raccontare. Sono prima di tutto produttori di vino , quindi cadrete benissimo su ogni scelta. Non mancate la cena al Oseleta 1 Stella Michelin, guidato da Marco Marras. Sapori semplici e decisi. Davvero speciale

Location molto curata con un servizio impeccabile. Relax allo stato puro.

Wir verbachten ein paar Urlaubstage in der Villa Cordevigo. Tolles Ambiente, sehr kompetentes und freundliches Personal, exzellenter persönlicher Service; man kümmerte sich um alles für uns. Vielen, vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Ahimè mi trovo a scrivere una recensione negativa a seguito della degustazione fatta in data 6-aprile-2024. Conoscevamo un vino della cantina, che ci aveva colpito tempo fa e perciò abbiamo deciso di degustare altri vini di punta della cantina facendo la degustazione "da est a ovest" proposta dalla struttura, dal costo di 50 euro a testa. La degustazione si è svolta individualmente in una sala privata con il sommelier (eravamo un gruppo di 6 persone). Il problema principale è che la degustazione prevedeva 4 vini: 1 lugna, 1 bianco sauvignon-garganega, 2 amaroni e la quantità servita di ognuno dei vini è stata assolutamente irrisoria. Lo standard per un calice di vino dovrebbe essere sui 100 ml ma, per essere generosi, di ogunna delle 4 bottiglie sono stati usati al massimo 200ml per servire 6 calici! Trovo che per il prezzo pagato non sia minimamente all'altezza della degustazione, soprattutto perchè i vini serviti non hanno costi esagerati (si parla di vini da 15/25 euro per i bianchi e 45/65 per i due amaroni). Peccato perchè alcuni dei vini assaggiati (se così si può dire) sono molto buoni.
