Hotel Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa Reviews

Excellent location in Florence, high standard of accommodation The location was excellent for us. Out of the hotel/suites turn right, then right again and there you are on the Ponte Vecchio, 5 minutes walking fairly slowly. A few minutes walk the other way and you arrive at the Pitti Palace. The staff were wonderful ! The kind I would expect in a 5 * hotel. ( they also spoke good English) Breakfast was very good. The accommodation only has 14 rooms/suites, so the breakfast room was not big but very adequate, and well stocked with a variety of food including scrambled eggs ! At 6 pm there is a ‘happy hour’ at the lobby/breakfast area, and the drinks are free of charge. I do not think I have experienced that in any other hotel. Receptionist gave a list of nearby restaurants with brief descriptions upon check in and offered to book for us. The room was a very good size. I had requested ground floor near to the lobby as we are an ‘older couple’. It was ‘spot on’. Sitting area was slightly separated from the bed area, ( super comfortable) which was nice as my husband could sit on a comfy sofa watching TV without disturbing me. The kitchen area was ‘hidden’ i.e. it looked like a wardrobe. just open the door, and Voila ! coffee machine, sink, electric hob etc. even a small dishwasher. Close the doors and it was so nice not to have to keep looking at a sink etc. We did not use the spa so cannot comment on that.

Should be 5* - perfect We stay at a lot of five star hotels and I can assure you this Hotel offers 5* service. In fact the service received was better than most of the five star hotels we stay at. Generous Hotel with a complimentary happy hour offering Prosecco/red/white wine and nibbles as well as complimentary biscuits and water in the room. Good breakfast and good amenities and of course it’s next to the Ponte Vecchio. All this at a reasonable price Well recommended

Amazing I really loved this hotel I had Jacuzzi in the room The room are cleaned and big Staff is very friendly Unfortunaltly i could not use the Spa Breakfast is good The also offer you aperitivo from 6 p.m. I will recomend it and definitly i will come back

Amazing! From the moment we stepped in the door and throughout our stay, we were always greeted with a friendly smile! The staff here are amazing and very accommodating!! We were upgraded and that was a very nice surprise as we continued our holiday trip in Italy! The breakfast was great!

Absolute treasure This hotel has been absolutely the best experience and relaxation we’ve ever experienced and we are avid world travelers. The food in the morning was soooo delicious and even available to go. Most days we missed lunch bc we were rushing around to so many sites and the breakfast had kept us full and happy. The massages were incredible. The spa was such a relaxing experience and it was so wonderful to have it privately between myself and my husband and just every single staff member is so kind and attentive absolutely recommends with all the stars possible.

Wonderful hotel The hotel was beautiful and the room even more so. Impeccable service and staff. The room was clean and you found a nice courtesy set. The bed was really comfortable. The only drawback the breakfast because I would have preferred a little more choice but it was very good anyway. At check out we were made to store our luggage at the hotel until departure. We will definitely return.

Couples anniversary trip to Florence Very nice hotel! Florence is our favourite city and we decided to treat ourself to a Premium room for the trip. Staff were amazing (especially Olga and Tatiana) and the facilities (even though this hotel has a smallish number of rooms) were first class with Olga organising a massage therapist to visit the hotel for us on the second day of our stay. Breakfast gave a wide degree of options and was excellent and the room itself was fantastic. Very clean and attended to every day. Location is within walking distance of everything you need from this beautiful city. Will definitely return and book again!

Exceptional Kindness and helpfulness in this place and the keyword I found nn well to very well the suite and a show from the photos does not make much but arrived there and a dream❤️the top massage then the hot tub made me relax a lot

Perfect boutique hotel at reasonable prices Perfect location away from tourists in a quiet elegant setting enveloped in luxurious scent from the moment you enter the hotel ! It feels like you are staying with very rich relatives with live in servants. Perfect rooms , elegant staff, unmatched breakfasts with superb cappuccino. I wish we could move in and stay a year !!

Five-Star Stay at Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa This review is long overdue! We hadn’t originally planned to stay at Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa, but after a disastrous experience with a rental agency that left us in a filthy flat and €1,200 out of pocket, we needed a new place—fast. Our priorities were clear: somewhere comfortable, reasonably priced, and centrally located in the heart of Florence. This charming boutique hotel turned out to be the perfect solution. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from the iconic Ponte Vecchio and a 5-minute stroll to the Uffizi Gallery. From here, everything in Florence is within walking distance. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They went out of their way to make our stay as smooth as possible. We stayed in the Executive Suite, which was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and we slept like babies despite the sweltering 36°C outside, thanks to the perfectly functioning air conditioning. Breakfast was just right, with a good variety of options, and once again, the staff made the experience even better with their warm and attentive service. On our last day, the reception team arranged a taxi for us, which arrived in just two minutes—super efficient! When we return to Florence, we’ll absolutely consider staying here again. A huge thank you to the entire team for turning what started as a stressful trip into a truly memorable one!
