Vale a experiência O hotel é lindo. O staff é super atencioso. O quarto é muito bom, limpo e arrumado. A vista da Ponte Vecchio é um show a parte. Café da manhã é servido no prédio ao lado. O rooftop é legal, porém muito cheio e caro.

Great hotel with a noise problem at night We stayed two night in what is probably one of the best room in the hotel: 302 , a corner room overlooking the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. Staff at check in was very helpful and professional. The room is beautiful, spacious and the bed is wonderful. The breakfast buffet across the courtyard was more than ample (although one pays extra if ordering off the menu, eggs for example). The front desk staff (Luca) was particularly helpful in arranging shipment to our hotel in Rome of clothes we left in a drawer. But we had a major problem with noise from the street below. On the Friday night there was loud amplified music from the "First Glass" open air wine bar directly below our room which continued until 10 pm. On Saturday night this music was louder and continued until 12 pm. Even worse was the noise from the crowds loitering outside the liquor store/bar across the street at the corner side of our room. This went on until closing time at 3 am. It was impossible to sleep until after that time. On checkout the staff seemed unaware of this problem. Both nights were cold and rainy and we can't imagine what the noise would be like in better weather. We realize this may be out of the hotel's control but visitors should be aware and might not want a room facing the street. We also understand that the Continentale is planning a major refurbishment and we suggest the hotel do something to abate the noise problem (such as take over the wine bar and liquor store!). If we return to Florence we will stay at the sister hotel Lugarno which faces the Arno on the other side without a street in front.

Room service didn't replenish the towels every day. When they found the face towels dirty, they would take them without replacing them. The same thing happened with the coffee. I also couldn't find a "Do Not Disturb" card in the room. We stayed at the hotel for five days and I forgot to ask for it. Room service kept waking us up from our naps. I also remember once my son was in the room and sat for a long time because he was tired. When we wanted to leave, I saw the head of housekeeping. She told me she wanted to clean the room, but he was in the room and she had to finish. She spoke as if I was the one at fault. I don't know why I apologized to her because my son was tired in the room. Knowing that we booked two rooms for five days, I don't like it The porters were very, very nice, and so was the reception, but the room service was not.

Exceptional Service We had a wonderful stay and what truly made it exceptional was the staff. Alison at the reception was warm, helpful, and made us feel so welcome from the very start. The doormen were equally amazing—always attentive, friendly, and greeting us every time we walked through the door. We also spent New Year’s on the rooftop, where the service was fantastic—the bartenders were attentive, welcoming, and made the night even more special. On top of that, the location is absolutely amazing—perfect for exploring Florence. When we return, we will definitely be booking this hotel again.

Perfecto Everything was perfect, Room condition and size, Amenities, Location and The Staff were awesome. Wonderful long weekend in Florence. From the moment we arrived we were made most welcome by Christina. Tthoughout our stay the whole team were super professional and supportive making (and cancelling...sorry about that! ) reservations & booking tickets on our behalf. We also used the restaurants and bars of the other group hotels nearby and had exactly the same experience. On top of that the location of the hotel was unbeatable right next to the Ponte Vecchio. The room was fabulous with views over the river. A fantastic place to stay in Florence.

Hidden gem Less a hotel than rooms in a discrete city building, with services provided in the sister hotel across the street. The location could not be better, next to Ponte Vecchio and within walking distance to all main tourist sites. Rooms have comfortable beds and attention to detail, including turn-down service and well functioning air conditioning. The breakfast area turns into a relaxed lounge during daytime, and a visit to the rooftop bar 701 is highly recommended. Friendly staff.

Excellent hotel in Florence I highly recommend the Continentale in Florence. The location excellent, right next to the Ponte Vecchio. We were concerned for the noise level but had no problem, we had no street noise during our stay. We loved our room which was very modern but comfortable. And the service was impeccable in all respects.

Location, location, location, and so much more Where to begin, when talking about the wonderful Hotel Continentale? The place is calm and quiet, centrally located and people working there are extremely helpful and friendly. My room had a wonderful view on river Arno and was an escape from busy and touristy Florence. I loved every Ferragamo touch (the books!) and will be back for more me-time. Breakfast was superb. And I will never forget the smile of the door man.
