We understand that it is difficult for customers to understand what is involved in running and maintaining a top tier home service company. Our prices are a direct reflection of what it costs us to operate including and not limited to having an incredible office staff that are ready to take your call and schedule your call at a time that is convenient for you. Having qualified professionals arrive as scheduled in uniform with a fully stocked service truck and ready to handle any repair at any time.
More specifically, your specific shower repair was quite difficult. The position of the set screw made it challenging to access. The components were all seized and calcified due to the minerals in the water. Once we finally removed the handle and assembly the cartridge was also extremely seized and full of scale build up. Nevertheless we performed a flawless repair and noticed that the diverter spindle was leaking. We offered to repair it and began sourcing the part for you.

In addition there is no set fee for what a shower repair 'should cost'. There are many different shower system brands and styles all with various components. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to support you.
