We did our 2D 1N wellness team building session at Beacon Resort. It was very insightful and the trainers were all very energetic, friendly and accommodating. Basically, we chose a package where we did a medical check-up with the team prior to the trip and the medical reports were disbursed and discussed during the team building sessions, in addition to other health-related activities, so these were all relevant to our company staff.
Our White Jasmine room was great and so was the food. However, for the Lavender room, those sleeping at the top bunk felt the air cond wasn't strong enough. The Dining Hall was also a bit too hot, especially in our kind of hot and humid weather; we wanted to chat longer there but had to leave because it was getting too stuffy.
Even the staff at Beacon Mart were friendly and helpful. I do need to take my hat off to the Bangladeshi gardener who was passionate about his passion fruit plants and was so willing to offer his advice when he found out I grew the same but without fruits haha. He went the extra mile to give me advice when I showed him my passion fruit plants at home.
One of our trainers, Joo Yee, was also so, so kind. Salut! One of our directors forgot where he left an important box and she went with him on a buggy to retrace his steps. Though they still could not find it, he was able to leave his number with them in case the Lost and Found department received it. Alex Goh was the main PIC who helped us coordinate everything and he was very accommodating and always willing to answer queries as well. It was a great experience working with him and I honestly feel everything went smoothly because of him. 👍
However, I think the roads to the resort can be much improved as it was pretty bad. The indoor games room for the kids with the rubber band guns, kiddy bowling pins etc can also be improved. Not only were rubber bands not provided but I don't think the equipment was well maintained.
Overall, I think this was a great experience and I would personally come again with my family, who have already expressed interest in coming back again.
