6 months after my procedure I am thrilled with the results. People have exclaimed on seeing me “omg, you have hair!” I can barely tell that I even had a transplant because the hairline looks so natural.
The procedure itself was a really impressive performance. The nurses were highly coordinated and effective in their roles pulling and sorting hairs after Dr Plaman made the incisions.
I felt at ease and comfortable the whole time and cannot recommend Dr. Plaman’s work highly enough.
I can't be happier with the results of my hair transplant from Dr. Plaman and his team. You can see from my before photos that my hair was thinning and on it's way out.
Leading up, I had dozens of questions, but Dr. Plaman was able to answer all of my questions over several phone calls to put me at ease. The whole process was very simple. I took a short flight from San Diego the night before, and was able to do the surgery the next day.

I was about a week away from going to Miami for a procedure that was very cheap. I had some misgivings and thought I would look for someone in my area.

I had a hair transplant with Dr. Plaman over 3 1/2 years ago now, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
Dr. Plaman and his staff were all very professional and knowledgable. I think what I like most about the experience with Dr. Plaman was how he gave me multiple options while also providing me with realistic results. For context, I come from a family where all of the men are Norwood 6 or 7, my hairline began to recede at 18, and was Norwood 3-4 at the time of my transplant. We decided on a conservative number of grafts and to focus on just filling in where was needed for the moment, knowing that even with Finasteride and Minoxidil I might need another transplant in the future. However, 3 1/2 years post surgery I feel that the non-transplanted area is holding strong and hopefully will continue to do so. ;)
I had been thinking about getting a transplant in Turkey to save cost, but I was worried about aftercare so I decided to do it with Dr. Plaman while I was living in Albuquerque. Shortly after, I moved to Germany where hair transplants are more common. I've noticed I can immediately tell if somebody went to turkey for a transplant. The result looks somewhat unnatural because their hairline is too straight or the follicles have been arranged like rows of corn. I believe that Dr. Plaman and his team did a wonderful job at providing the most natural looking result possible. Since my transplant I have never had anyone ask if I ask if I had a transplant (other than friends and family who knew what I looked like before the transplant) and when I tell people they are shocked.
If I ever feel that I need another hair transplant for the crown area I will definitely be giving Dr. Plaman a call. Although there might be enticing cheaper options in Mexico or Turkey, the quality result speaks for itself and is well worth the price.
Before the transplant I wore a hart for almost every picture to hide my hairline, but now I hardly ever wear hats! I attached a recent photo of me on vacation in Switzerland enjoying my full head of hair. :)

I recommend you talk to Dr. Plaman at Precision Medical and come up with an attack plan to restore that hairline. Dr. Plaman and his team guided me every step of the way. I got my hair restoration done by Dr. Plaman and it was an absolutely great experience: I had a remote consultation with him, Dr. Plaman listened to me and answered all my questions. In the days before the procedure, he checked in with me again, reminded me of what to do and not do before the surgery and updated me about the exact schedule. The appointment itself in his clinic was nice, his clinic has a light and friendly atmosphere that took all the stress away. During the procedure he explained everything they were doing, how they are making progress, checked in with me often, let me choose the music, served lunch, ... I thought beforehand that the procedure would be stressful but it really wasn't. I even slept twice 😅 After the procedure he did a debriefing with me, the day after I had another check-in in his clinic, and in the days and weeks after the procedure he checked in a few times by phone to see that the healing is going as it should.
An absolutely great experience all around, I always felt in good hands, and his staff was so friendly and helpful too. I'd recommend him to any friend who is thinking about doing this procedure too.
