Dr. Plaman is the best! I recently had a hair transplant procedure. The entire day I was made to feel comfortable by him and his team. He is very detail oriented and takes pride in his work. I had no pain the day after the procedure. I also was able to get more grafts than what I was expecting. He is without a doubt the most attentive and patient MD I've ever interacted with, which is so refreshing these days. I'm thrilled to see the final results!

Would never recommend this place. They did a terrible job. When I ask if they could fix it. They started acting shady. Now I have to go some where else to get it fixed and its not cheap. Don't give these people you're money. Go somewhere that they know what there doin.

I had a hair transplant with Dr. Plaman over 3 1/2 years ago now, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
Dr. Plaman and his staff were all very professional and knowledgable. I think what I like most about the experience with Dr. Plaman was how he gave me multiple options while also providing me with realistic results. For context, I come from a family where all of the men are Norwood 6 or 7, my hairline began to recede at 18, and was Norwood 3-4 at the time of my transplant. We decided on a conservative number of grafts and to focus on just filling in where was needed for the moment, knowing that even with Finasteride and Minoxidil I might need another transplant in the future. However, 3 1/2 years post surgery I feel that the non-transplanted area is holding strong and hopefully will continue to do so. ;)
I had been thinking about getting a transplant in Turkey to save cost, but I was worried about aftercare so I decided to do it with Dr. Plaman while I was living in Albuquerque. Shortly after, I moved to Germany where hair transplants are more common. I've noticed I can immediately tell if somebody went to turkey for a transplant. The result looks somewhat unnatural because their hairline is too straight or the follicles have been arranged like rows of corn. I believe that Dr. Plaman and his team did a wonderful job at providing the most natural looking result possible. Since my transplant I have never had anyone ask if I ask if I had a transplant (other than friends and family who knew what I looked like before the transplant) and when I tell people they are shocked.
If I ever feel that I need another hair transplant for the crown area I will definitely be giving Dr. Plaman a call. Although there might be enticing cheaper options in Mexico or Turkey, the quality result speaks for itself and is well worth the price.
Before the transplant I wore a hart for almost every picture to hide my hairline, but now I hardly ever wear hats! I attached a recent photo of me on vacation in Switzerland enjoying my full head of hair. :)

I got my hair restoration done by Dr. Plaman and it was an absolutely great experience: I had a remote consultation with him, Dr. Plaman listened to me and answered all my questions. In the days before the procedure, he checked in with me again, reminded me of what to do and not do before the surgery and updated me about the exact schedule. The appointment itself in his clinic was nice, his clinic has a light and friendly atmosphere that took all the stress away. During the procedure he explained everything they were doing, how they are making progress, checked in with me often, let me choose the music, served lunch, ... I thought beforehand that the procedure would be stressful but it really wasn't. I even slept twice 😅 After the procedure he did a debriefing with me, the day after I had another check-in in his clinic, and in the days and weeks after the procedure he checked in a few times by phone to see that the healing is going as it should.
An absolutely great experience all around, I always felt in good hands, and his staff was so friendly and helpful too. I'd recommend him to any friend who is thinking about doing this procedure too.

Dr Plaman went to high school with my kids and nephews, so when I found out that he was the most respected Dr in this field, I was quick to make an appointment
Having had cancer, my once plentiful hair was now falling out by the fist fulls.
As shown in the pictures, I have had every color of hair in the color spectrum, but I had kept it very short for many years because it just wouldn’t grow much at all.
I have now been with Dr Chris for almost a year and am loving it that I can wear ponytails and messy buns!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The consultation was easy to book. Even when I had to reschedule they were super accommodating. During the consultation, the doctor listened to me and had no problem walking me through step by step what can be done for my specific case, which was refreshing. TBH, most hair loss offices want to push surgery without even getting details about me. Overall, I’m glad I met with them. I more at ease and know exactly what my treatment will cost and how it happens which a huge load off my mind. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!
