I work with a small company for several years. I’ve always bought engines but never felt right. Since I heard about these amazing people! Ever since we purchase only through them!! George has helped me since day one! Over all if you need a good quality engine I’d recommend them any day!
Damon was fantastic in providing all the information I asked for and quickly answered all my questions regarding the 5.7L Hemi reman that I bought from Powertrain Company. He also did a great job coordinating the delivery to the shop so that it arrived exactly when I needed it to get there. I had the engine installed by a professional, and he said that my reman was top quality. If I ever need another, I won’t hesitate to reach out to Damon and Powertrain Company again.
I purchased an engine from this company for $11,000.00, and it started leaking oil at 625 miles.
They want you to submit a warranty claim that will not cover the total cost of repair, and YOU have to pay the difference in parts and labor. They will also tell you that they are not responsible to repair the engine that the company they buy the engine from is responsible even though you pay Powertrain company for the engine you buy. All you get is a run around from these people. BEWARE. UDATE: had a second failure at 2300 miles, this company is using silicone to seal the oil pan instead of a gasket....

Rob Valdez was my sales associate at power train, from the minute we spoke I was completely comfortable with his expertise and ability to find me an engine. I shopped around and he actually searched his inventory and gave me an incredible price. Rob continued to help me by calling the mechanic who was in another state and clearing up an issue. Rob followed up numerous times and always remembered me when I called! So glad I chose Powertrain!
I ordered a long block engine with the $397 engine kit, and paid in full. The engine was delivered on time, in 5 days, as promised, but the kit was sent to the wrong state. The kind women who received my engine kit, called to inform me such, which I had to wait until they opened on the following Monday to report the problem, as they don't work weekends. I called Mr Stephen Butz, who initially was prompt, courteous and thorough with the sale and transferring of my money. Became the complete opposite, in seconds. Prior to any issues, he would answer my calls every time I called and knew it was me. But after my engine kit was sent to the wrong state, (correct street, wrong state) for the life of me, idk how that happened, Mr. Stephen Butz became a different person. A DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVE OF POWERTRAIN COMPANY.
He now let's my calls go to his voice messages, screening my calls except for when I * 67'd him, he has had 11 days to get me the kit, he lies like a rug, calling me "brother", saying he's going to take care of this right now, "let me call Brian" he says. The nice lady in Illinois, even took the kit to her local UPS store and return to sender on the following Monday.
Mr Butts face, you, brother, are a disgrace, and have no right to do what you have done to me. I sure would love to see a big fresh pile of KARMA land on your face, brother. There in Oklahoma City. I'll be going threw there soon, brother. Im being gracious with giving them 1 star. Next stop is Facebook and then BBB. BEWARE of this company
Damon has taken care of me every step of the way through this entire process. His insight excellence in experience and attention to detail. Par surpasses the standard. His kindness and understanding are totally supportive of a person in need and for the record he is an excellent, absolutely excellent employee. Had a horrible experience. Sent me a bad transmission and then sent me the wrong wirekit because that's what they wanted to do first.my truck was down for 2 months and the warranty department sucks and rips you off.first he told me I should have bought the better warranty when they sent me a bad unit then I had to pay twice and when I got some money back it cost me still another 400 hundred of my Own money when they messed up.not included i use the truck to make money so lost on that .terrible work it it did even move when installed and they talked bad about Jasper guess were iam going next time will not use them so beware.
