I really can't recommend Poseidon Moving enough - I chose to book moving services with them again after hiring them for my previous move in 2019 and couldn't be more pleased. I heard back from them within a day of submitting my moving request, even at the peak of moving season during the summer. Their email communications and reminders were clear and helped me to prepare for my move from Brookline to Cambridge. The whole move took around 2.5-3 hours and their team of three was professional and personable, even after doing other moves all day in different parts of the Boston area.

We had used this company before for a short move, but this move was interstate. It was handled professionally and without any problems. Oleg was able to accurately assess our needs and provided the crew that could handle them. He responded promptly to our emails prior to moving day. The day of the move the crew showed up promptly and completed the loading in an amazing four hours, despite the fact we have heavy furniture and many, many boxes of books! We were kept posted as we made our way to Maine. As soon as we were cleared to enter the new home, they showed right up. The goods were delivered intact without damage. All instructions for placement were followed and they asked for clarification to make things easier for us.

They did an awesome job with our move at a very affordable price - great communication, no hidden fees added on last minute. Definitely recommend doing the walkthrough with your account manager to make sure you properly scope how much work is needed to get the job done - that was HUGE. No broken items and very quick for a really intensive move. Would definitely work with them again!

Stay away from this company. They totally underestimated the required equipment for this basic house move. Truck was too small, damaged 2 couches after jamming in items at the end. Had to leave items behind, thankfully new owners were ok with that as the movers had no other trucks available. They started late , 10am , finished at 11pm. Left moving equipment behind at both the from and to house. Claims department basically non existent. Asked for reimbursement of professional couch cleaning for $120, which was a steal for 2 couches. Communication from the claims manager Oleg went silent. Do not take the chance with your valuables with this low tier moving company.

Overall a good experience. The movers have their own way of wrapping furniture for the move, which will take a bit of time on the front end, but does ensure the furniture arrives undamaged. Handled all items/boxes with care. As a bonus they knew how to operate the building elevator, which even the concierge did not.
