Ich habe 4 Nächte im Guest House Pongyi verbracht und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Gastgeberin Nina war super nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich und hat mir bei all meinen Fragen geholfen. Sie spricht sehr gut englisch, sodass die Verständigung kein Problem war. Das Guest House ist vom Hauptbahnhof gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Da ich allein durch Japan gereist bin, habe ich im gemischten Schlafsaal geschlafen. Das Bett dort war gemütlich und man hatte noch etwas Platz, um seinen Koffer oder seine Tasche am Fußende zu verstauen. Wenn man sich das Schlafzimmer nicht mit anderen teilen möchte, scheint es auch Einzelzimmer zu geben. Eine Waschmaschine ist ebenfalls vorhanden und für einen sehr fairen Preis nutzbar. Nina hat außerdem jeden Abend gegen 20:00 Uhr eine kleine Aktivität angeboten (z.B. Origami), bei der man gut mit den anderen Gästen in Kontakt kommen konnte. Generell habe ich die Atmosphäre im Guest House Pongyi (sowohl seitens der Gastgeber als auch seitens der anderen Gäste) als sehr freundlich und herzlich wahrgenommen. Sollte ich noch einmal nach Kanazawa kommen, werde ich sicher wieder hier übernachten!

スタッフの方が他のゲストの人たちと仲良くなれるように毎晩イベントを開催してくれたり、話しやすい雰囲気を作ってくれたおかげでとっても楽しいひと時を過ごすことができました。消灯時間まで同部屋の子達と共有スペースでお話ししたり、学生時代に戻ったようなあったかい時間を過ごすことができました。また金沢に行った際には伺いたいです！

Such an amazing guesthouse. The whole place is so homely, immaculate and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable! They have thought of everything. Nina is amazing, she is so welcoming and friendly. She holds causal evening activities so travellers can get together, it is so wholesome. My stay here was one of my highlights whilst travelling Japan. Thank you Nina!

It was 2 amazing days ! I Iove the atmosphere and niina-san was so nice ❤️ the guest house is small but you feel like home. Everything is so comfy and I had my best nights there. If you’re coming to Kanazawa I would recommend to stay there :) a unique experience

オープンして間もない頃からのリピーターです。実家に帰る感覚で利用させて頂いてます。 鍋やたこ焼き、折り紙、等など他のゲストさんとの交流が楽しいですし、オーナーのまさきさん、女将のにいなさんの人柄が素敵です。 朝のホットサンドも有料ですが、ボリュームがあってとても美味しいです。焼き加減と卵の半熟具合が絶妙！ 駅からも程よい場所で、観光もしやすいです。

居合わせた他のゲストさんを紹介してくれるため、ゲスト同士の活発で円滑な交流が出来たり、夜にオーナーさんとゲストの皆でお話ししながら鶴を折ったりと、ゲストハウスの良いところが最大限活かせる工夫が随所に感じられます。 また、人生経験豊富なオーナーさんとのお話もとても刺激になるので、ある程度長い時間滞在されることをおすすめします。 癒しと刺激の両方が得られる素敵な宿なので、金沢訪問の際は必ず立ち寄ると決めています。

The staff is very friendly that brought together the guests, even though I stayed only two nights there, I got a chance to communicate with people from all around the world. The guest house is renovated from an old store so you can actually experience the traditional Japanese vibe of house there. The public area was wide and clean. It will be a good choice for you if you want to stay at a place like home in Kanazawa.

I stayed with my partner at this guest house at the end of December 2025, and it was one of the best experiences of my trip to Japan. The attention and warm welcome from the hosts at Pongy were amazing. I'm really grateful to have had the opportunity to stay there and meet such nice people. I stayed there for three nights, and each evening we had the opportunity to participate in cultural activities like cooking, doing origami, and having a really nice chat all together.

L’une de mes meilleures expérience au Japon ! Le logement est propre et chaleureux. Les propriétaires adorables et arrangeants ! Chaque soir il y a des petites activités typiques. J’ai eu la chance de participer à l’activité origami et à celle que les kanjis ! De plus cela permet d’échanger avec des locaux sur la culture et la vie au Japon ! Encore merci ! Plus qu’une recommandation c’est incontournable.

There are regular customers who snore badly 長年利用していましたが、かなりの確率でいびきをかくかたに遭遇して安眠することができません。安眠剤安定性、耳栓をしても、男性のひどい方がいる場合、2階の女子ドミまで響きます。眠りの深い方気にならない方は良いのですが、 今回泊まってみてしみじみ私にはドミトリーは無理だと思いました。 寝付くまでのヘッドホン耳栓などは持ってきたほうがいいと思います。 朝その方にうるさかったと言ったら言われたことあるし、無呼吸用のマウスピースピースをなくした、ならせめてむかいの薬局で鼻腔テープ買えば？とそんなリピーターさんがいる、私ならイビキ自分かくならホテルいきますがね。 他はもそういう方に対して私の知っているゲストハウスはそういう警告があった場合、出入り禁止にしますと言うところが何箇所があり、安心して滞在することができたし、連泊の場合は場所を変えていただいたり、その方を個室に移すと対策をされていましたが、ここは何もされていません。 海外の方からには日本体験はとても素晴らしいし、皆と話すのは楽しいのですが、睡眠に自信のない方はホテルに泊まってください 追記以上口コミを書いたら集客がへるとかもう来るなとか人格を否定されて 傷つきました。2度といかないし金沢自体寒気がする地名になりました 夜困った事があっても館内に人がいないので、それも怖いし、寝れなかった時点でリビングでねていいか聞きたかったけどいない。 鬱気味の私が行ったのはよくなかったけど2泊で11500円と観光税ならホテルに一泊すれば良かったし、年越しは1500円食事代かかる事しか連絡なかった。 1500円スーパーの袋麺の伸びた蕎麦、タンパク質はんぺん程度なべ、黒豆程度 寝れなかったのと二人に真実書いたのにいいかえされて 帰りのバスでパニック起こし帰りに自宅近くで倒れました。 本性見たりの偽善 アジアのどこにどう、宿泊費の100円が寄付されてるか不明 バスルームが寒くて、冬場は最初は水しか出ず出ると風邪をひきそうになる。 古くて回収重ねているため、災害が来たら危険。 キッチンで自炊できない 昔は湯たんぽあったけどなくなった アメニティはない。 洗濯機あるが案内なく、使えない雰囲気のためせいぜい2泊 海外の方が多いとサービスがいい 月曜は休館 こたつあるけどファンヒーターから管で温風入れるだけ寒い うらのナンバーキー見にくくあけるの困難

Incredible guest house that's in a building that is over 100 years old - still maintaining its antiquity and charm. The owners Nina-san and Masaki-san are very warm and loving people. There are fun activities organized every evening if you're up for it. Overall a great stay, great time, and great conversations!

Staying at this small guesthouse in Kanazawa was truly the highlight of my trip, feeling more like a home than a traditional stay, thanks to the incredible atmosphere and staff. Nina, the manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful from check-in, going above and beyond to offer local tips and making everyone feel immediately comfortable. Its location is absolutely ideal, being just a short 5-10 minute walk from Kanazawa station. Moreover, the excellent communal spaces made it wonderfully easy to meet and connect with fellow international travellers and sharing stories. I highly recommend this guesthouse if you are looking for a comfortable, social, and perfectly located base for your Kanazawa adventures.

Although we only stayed for one night, it was sure enough to experience the hospitality of Nina-san at Pongyi. She have us precious info for exploring Kanazawa, and held onto our luggage until check-in. When we came back, she explained everything in the Guest House (which by the way is very complete! it felt like home), and introduced us to the other guests. Then, she invited us to have tea and do Peace origami, which we gladly enjoyed. We stayed until late sipping tea and talking with all the guests. Whenever we want to come back to Kanazawa, we will be sure to stay some days at Pongyi. It is good for your soul.

J'ai tout aimé dans cette petite guesthouse mais surtout l'accueil de Nina la propriétaire. Elle a été de très bon conseil, extrêmement disponible et a partagé avec nous l'histoire de la ville, de la maison et a organisé une soirée origami le soir de notre arrivée. Cette petite auberge est comme une petite famille, on s'y sent tout de suite accueillis et on peut facilement nouer des liens avec les autres voyageurs. C'est un de mes hébergements préférés lors de mon séjour au Japon. L'emplacement proche de la gare et du centre ville est idéal. Je recommande à 200%.

Amazing place, the staff is so sweet. They organised an evening of Japanese Calligraphy where they taught us how to write our names in Kanji. They gave tips on where to go and when. The location is great, walking distance from the city center and the station. Everything is spotless and the facilities are stocked. The house is a traditional japanese building that use to be kimono shop.
