We started our cloth nappy journey with Pokkelokkie by purchasing a second-hand newborn bundle, it worked wonderfully for us. As baby grew, we switched to the Snap-It Pros, which we bought new, and they’ve been just as great. I’m very proud of us and would definitely recommend this to other parents. It’s important to follow the washing instructions carefully, hot water or direct sunlight affects the waterproof covers 😝

Recommended all the way from Morocco!
I had my family bring them all the way to Morocco for me and they absolutely did not disappoint. Baby has used them since birth. Easy to use, easy to wash, and the quality is excellent. Plus baby looks super cute. The fit and design is much better than others I have tried. Definitely worth the investment! Customer service is also amazing. 100% recommend!

BEST CLOTH NAPPIES ON THE MARKET
We absolutely love our Pokkelokkie diapers. Even the best disposable diapers gave our son a rash after just one day's use. The disposable diapers leak at night and then you have to change baby's whole outfit at 2 a.m. NOT FUN AT ALL. And not to mention the actual disposal of the nappies - you need special bags and bins and even then it still smells bad.
Pokkelokkie = No rash / no leaking / no odor and a huge bonus is that you never have to buy diapers again for your second or third baby.
Kerryn gives the best after sales service and is always just a message away with help and guidance. I can highly recommend Pokkelokkie.

Having the difficult school conversation
Sharing in hopes of helping parents who are sending their babas to school.
My LO started school today. She’s 4m and in Snappits. Loving our Pokkie journey. I’ve truly surprised myself in our easy it’s been. Super proud.
I purposely didn’t tell the school about cloth because I had an inkling that they’d immediately say no (because yes, when you say cloth everyone thinks old school, extra effort Terry nappies). So I arrived this morning (guns blazing I might add because I wasn’t going to accept “no to cloth”). I might add here that I’m a pretty easy going mom. I went in with the intention of explaining why we’ve decided to do cloth (sensitive skin etc) and to do a demo. I was immediately met with negativity and “no ways, we’re not doing cloth; too much extra work; too many babies to worry about; too hot in summer” blah blah blah. I was firm in my explanation. I then said, please can I just show you. So I pulled out the Snappit (everything was pre packed and folded, ready to go) and the change in her face was night and day… Her words were “Oh wow, I wasn’t expecting that”. After showing her how it’s done, she very calmly said, no problem we can do that. I sent her the videos too for in case.
I think a lot of parents may get shot down by schools, not because cloth is bad or not going to work for the school, but because of the very clear misconception around modern day cloth. Parents need to be ready to have the conversation (possibly difficult ones too) and advocate for their preferred nappy system. Go in prepared for a “no”. Be clear that that is your preferred system, why you’ve chosen it and then demo for them. Have your Snappits ready and folded. Tell them to put the folded dirty nappy in the extra wet bag (they do not have to clean the dirty nappy- just fold). It’s simply no extra work for them.
Failing the above, find yourself another school ;)

Happy and Dry in Cloth Nappies
Our daughter is almost 2 weeks old. We put her in a Pokkelokkie Dawn Patrol nappy as soon as we got home from the hospital and haven’t looked back since! Our sweet girl is comfy, washing the nappies is easy and it feels so good not to be throwing away tons and tons of plastic and chemicals. We have just ordered a set of Snappit Pro nappies and we’re confident that they will see us right through to potty training with this beautiful girl and any future babies that follow!

Pokkelokkie has been an amazing nappy partner for us. New parents, but we jumped in on the cloth nappy journey from newborn. Pokkelokkie was there every step of the way, helping, guiding and motivating. Once we figured out the wash routine, the cloth slotted in to our household easily. I would recommend cloth to all parents, and I would choose no other brand than Pokkelokkies. Support local! Change the environment! Just go for it.

Absolutely phenomenal
I bought the night nappies previously, and absolutely love them. Now I've been saving up to get day time nappies to use cloth more. I have some other brands I'm using for day time. But I only buy Pokkelokkie now, they are simply the best quality! I never use the other brands I have when out of the house as they leak.
I did not quite understand why my friends say Pokkelokkie is the best, until I tried it. Best, BEST quality. Actually keeps the wees and poops inside the nappy, whereas the cheaper brands leak so easily. I really do love your brand!
Pokkelokkie night nappies have made such a difference to our nights. At first the smell was hectic, but the washing instructions on the website really work!
But honestly the night nappies, besides changing my life (!!) as I was changing nappies like 4 times a night because my girl is a heavy wetter and was drinking all night, has got me into a good routine with cloth nappies because I wash every day now and cloth actually works much better if you wash daily. It sounds a lot but it's REALLY not.
The when babba has just started sleeping through the night, she was ready to sleep through and not be woken by wetting, thanks to the night nappies. I suggest Pokkelokkie night nappies to like everyone!! All the mom's on mom's groups asking about wetting, I stress to them that they simply have to use Pokkelokkie night nappies because other brands are a waste of time. Honestly, the quality of Pokkelokkie is simply phenomenal!

I was so skeptical to make the change over but the moment our pokkies arrived, I knew I had made the best decision and had to order more to make a full time stash. The quality is unmatched! My son’s nappy rash has completely diminished from using our reusable wipeys and nappies! I’m so glad we made the change over from disposables! I was extremely disappointed with these wipes. The quality is very poor, leaving fluff everywhere even after multiple washes. For the price, I expected much better performance and durability. Additionally, the shipment took over three weeks to arrive, which was frustrating. While I understand there were manufacturing issues, the overall experience was far below my expectations. Would not recommend.
Even my husband is converted
Pokkelokkie nappies have been the best decision we’ve ever made for our newborn. It was a nonnegotiable for me to use cloth nappies, but so many moms recommended the dawn patrol nappies from Pokkelokkie and I now see why. Unlike traditional nappies, these nappies do not leak, our son doesn’t have any nappy rash, and overall we cannot thank Kerryn and her team enough for the amazing personal service and checking up after our purchase. We've been using preloved Pokkelokkie flats and fitteds since the first day we were home from hospital and 2 years later we have finally upgraded to the large flats/fitteds. I have sensitive and eczema prone skin so anticipated baby would have too - she does and disposables really irritate and dry out her skin. I love the flats but other caregivers love the fitteds. I love the simplicity of Pokkelokkie - I have enough decisions to make without having different styles and colours of nappies.
I also hated disposable nursing pads and the other reusable ones I have were just as tiny as the disposables. Pokkelokkie's is large and comfy and a must have.
We've recently started using the fleece longies for night time and love them. My daughter hates blankets so these keep her nice and warm even when she kicks the blankets off, and if there is some leaks then her clothes and bedding stays dry.
