Placed an order on Monday of this week for over £1500 of ply sheeting to be cut. Website states two to three days delivery to my home. Still waiting for confirmation of delivery date. To date have been told awaiting to be cut to size. My own customer is giving me a hard time because I can't finish the job. I'll update at a later stage
Product and staff are great, delivered on a Sunday, can’t ask for more than that! Thank you all for your help AND getting it delivered to me on a Sunday!
Utterly unreliable. The website advertises as 2-3 days until delivery. I've waited 5 days now. Was told the delivery was going to be made today, have tradesmen lined up to do the work and have just been informed they don't even have half of my order in stock and the other won't be delivered for another 2 days.

Fantastic company, the wood was of very high quality and cut perfectly to size. The customer service was brilliant with John triple checking that each piece had the grain going in the correct direction. Once cut, I was kept constantly updated as to the delivery of the order. A company I would definitely recommend to anyone to use.

Exceptional service from Ply Direct! I recently utilised their expertise for a custom project, and I couldn't be happier. From start to finish, communication was seamless, ensuring my specifications were met precisely. Highly recommend for any bespoke woodwork needs!
Poor service! Almost a week and no delivery! 3 text messages to confirm my order is on its way and nothing delivered! No updates providing the reason of their failed attempt! I'm having to chase customer service for an update and still no guarantee on when i should be receiving my order! Their poor excuse is due to the driver being too far from my location they're unable to make it in time. They should not be offering purchases and deliveries to places if they cannot deliver. The worst customer experience ever and will not be ordering from them again!
Outstanding experience with Ply Direct! I spent a month shopping around for the best plywood supplier and pricing. Ply Direct came out on top and the quality of their product is superb. I was concerned about buying BB quality plywood for a furniture project because these may contain some imperfections but I can honestly say their product looks beautiful. I highly recommend for furniture projects that will have visible surfaces. The delivery process was also extremely efficient, communicative and informative. I had a dedicated sales associate text me directly to verify grain direction, delivery schedule and preferred delivery time/date. For ply, definitely go with these guys!
I am really pleased with this company, very great quality, better price that my local timber, customer service is awesome. Will definitely order more in the future.
I have to congratulate you (especially Shanine) on your excellent service in this matter. I'm sure you are used to dealing with far more valuable orders than my silly little 3 ft square board but I have to say your service has been top class 👍
This was the first time I've ordered marine plywood cut to size from Ply Direct and I can't praise them too highly. It was the most professional and responsive service I've ever had from a company in this category. Their website works really well and the follow-up communications were excellent. The delivery was next day to West London, which was astonishingly efficent. I'm an infrequent customer, but if I was a builder I'd be using Ply Direct all the time.

Supplied perfectly cut pieces within a couple of days and at a reasonable price. Good, customer focused company.
Ply cut to order. Excellent service beyond all expectations. Had immediate contact on order to confirm direction of grain. Then regular updates on progress, despatch and delivery. Very impressed. I highly recommend! Thank you to all staff involved.

Some context - I first gave plydirect a 5 star rating even though my first experience was poor - main issue is delivery. Over a period of time I have spent best part £4000 with plydirect.
I thought they had rectified this but I was sadly mistaken - so here it goes...
Made two orders 20 mins apart requesting 1 delivery which they acknowledged.
Recieved a text stating a problem with delivery driver. Okay I waited.
Next text was that they didn't have enough material stock to fulfil the order. Odd because the day before the delivery driver had an issue... So not sure what the driver was going to deliver...
Next they asked to deliver separately and I said I wanted 1 delivery.
Then i had a confirmed date but They then lost one of the orders and had to recut it.
First delivery came and 1 piece was missing which I had to call again and they said they will add to the second delivery that same day.
Whilst others may have a had a great experience with plydirect - I havent.
Some notes:
You will need to chase them.
They won't always have stock even though they accept your order - competitor tells you on the website stock holding.
2 to 3 days is not accurate - I had to wait long after my order.
The delivery app they use to track is ridiculous - you can see every order and delivery they are making with everyone's addresses which I certainly didn't appreciate.
You will be asked to help the driver unload.
Comms is vague "sorry for the inconvenience..." etc in a hope the problem will go away.
Packaging varies - some have plastic corner protectors and some are shrink wrapped - few of my items had chipped corners but wasn't an issue for my jobs.
Could have been a great company as quality of product is excellent but delivery is a major let down. I now use a competitor who are more expensive but I get what I pay for and I am not being messed about and as such plydirect have just lost another £3000 worth of orders this week as I have gone elsewhere.
Won't use again.
