This is a beautiful campsite with each pitch either nestled among the trees or around the communal fire pits. Teaching a toddler how to use compost toilets was interesting! But he enjoyed it we loved listening to the birds and trying to work out what trees were which. We had a fabulous time and in the hot weather the campsite was super cool with a gentle breeze blowing through it. We loved it and canât wait to go again.
Excellent!
A beautiful place. Peaceful. The most cleanest and pleasant showers and compost toilets we have experienced, and we do a lot of camping!
Great community area too!
A section for adults only would be nice, we love kids but ours have flown the nest and we are wanting grown up time nowđ
The work the owners have done here is inspiring and we look forward to watching it grow.
Highly recommended âïž

Such a wonderful experience! We stayed at Tree Tops for 2 nights, myself, my partner and our child. We opted for the cabin (The Toad Hideout), as a treat and it exceeded our expectations! The cabin is very cosy, very well furnished and thought through. The attention to detail and the extraâs (such as complimentary eggs and honey) took us by surprise, along with how well provisioned the cabin was. All you really need to take is food and a change of clothes. The double bed is very comfy and making up the sofa bed was a simple task. We enjoyed breakfast on the upper balcony each morning, which connects to the cabin via a short rope bridge. Thereâs also a lower balcony for when the weather is bad. Thereâs plenty of communal facilities and places to relax and enjoy the surroundings, a bbq or a nice fire or just chill and read a book. The site and facilities are family friendly and I felt comfortable letting our child hang out in a safe environment, whilst also being able to explore and have fun.
Seb, the owner and host, was very helpful and welcoming. Seb contacted us a few days beforehand to check what time we planned to arrive. When we arrived, Seb greeted us and gave us a tour of the site and the cabin. Seb explained how things work and also gave us a brief history of the site.
Weâre looking forward to our next visit to Tree Tops and Train Tracks and weâre excited to see what new additions Seb and his family have added to the site.
This site is unique, comfortable and beautifully run. The sweet, grassy tent sites are surrounded by wildflowers; the treetop tents look awesome and have great names, and the unique structures have been built from home-milled wood with amazing craftsmanship.
The family-oriented owners are thoughtful and involved, and the farm-fresh eggs and convenient "store" on site are like icing on the cake.
Communal areas are beautiful, sheltered and useful. You can buy firewood there or bring your own, and there's a lovely, luxurious cabin to rent complete with rope bridge and porches to enjoy.
Things to know: there's spotty cell service, and a nearby road makes it less quiet than otherwise would be.
Highly recommend for a screen-free family getaway.

This is our second time at Treetops, such a wonderful eco site, really well maintained, clean facilities. Nicely spaced out site with central area for cooking/ firepits, theres even a pizza oven to use! Last time we camped, this time we stayed in the 2 level hanging tent - great experience being 'up in the trees' and super comfortable, like sleeping in a hammock! I'm sure we'll be staying again
Unreal! What Seb, Hannah and the gang have literally carved out of the forest is truly something special. This is our second stay, we had to come back to experience the cabin and the new facilities. The quality and finishing touches of the cabin and wider facilities made it a stay we will never forget.
From freshly laid eggs and dandelion honey straight from the hive. To woodfired pizzas and marshmallows over the fire. Waking up to bird song and the squirrels putting on a show right outside our window was a real treat for my kids (and me).
The rope bridge and deck is a great spot for a morning coffee and an even better spot all lit up at night for a nightcap. Looking out into the misty moody woodlands completely immersed in nature is an unforgettable experience.
It was such a tranquil experience all around for our family.
Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!
I visited for a solo stay Friday to Monday I was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and showed me around the place , he also recommended a great place for me to go mountain biking. The site is really nice, clean and well maintained,I stayed in one of the tree tents , the site was full but not overcrowded, a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend it.
We stayed for just one night, but it honestly couldnât have been more perfect.
I was a little concerned about how my two teenage girls would take to it, but I had nothing to worry aboutâthey absolutely loved every minute!
From the moment we arrived, it felt like a real adventure. The laughter as they climbed up the ladder was unforgettable, and it quickly turned into one of those special memories you donât forget.
It was such a unique experience, and seeing them enjoy it so much made it even better.
There's a wheelbarrow to take your belongings, the showers and toilet were very clean .
The hammocks were a fun way to camp out!
Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Weâll definitely be backâalready canât wait for our next visit!
