We had our old system taken out and a new Combi boiler and hive system fitted. We had Ryan as our engineer- fantastic guy . He has done an excellent job and was very respectful and considerate throughout. We would absolutely recommend.

We had Plumbgas change our 50-year-old boiler. From first contact, the lady on the phone was very helpful and answered all our questions, from the survey to the installation. Ryan Holmes was our engineer and we could not be happier with the service! From communication and constant updates, to being so attentive to detail and tidy. He also made sure to give us all the tips and tricks for using the new system!
Hope this helps someone! I’m adding a picture to showcase the pipework and how tidy everything is. Our old water tank used to be here. It wasn’t an easy job at all, but everything went so smoothly.

We had our heat pump installed by PlumbGas in October 2024, and the experience from start to finish was excellent.
A particular mention goes to business owner Jon, who carried out the initial survey and heat loss calculations. He took the time to properly assess the property, ensuring the radiators were correctly sized and the system was designed appropriately for the house. It was clear from the outset that the focus was on getting the installation right rather than simply selling a heat pump. That attention to detail has paid off, as the system has performed flawlessly and kept the house comfortable ever since.
We did experience an issue with the diverter valve after installation. PlumbGas responded quickly and replaced it free of charge. When the problem reoccurred, they returned promptly and replaced it again, this time with a different make, and we've had no issues since. While problems can occasionally happen with any installation, what matters is how a company responds, and PlumbGas couldn't have been more helpful throughout.
What really stood out was their commitment to customer service. They also corrected a couple of other issues I had noticed long after the installation, again at no additional cost. There was no hesitation or attempt to avoid responsibility. It's clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about the quality of the service they provide.
A special mention also goes to Ryan, who carried out the follow-up visits. He was always respectful, courteous, and professional. Across the additional visits after the installation, he took the time to discuss things properly, answer questions, and ensure everything was working as it should. He gave the impression of someone who genuinely cared about doing the job properly rather than simply getting it done and moving on.
The original installation price was competitive, and the aftercare has been excellent. Based on our experience, I would happily recommend PlumbGas to anyone considering a heat pump installation or any other work for that matter.

Very efficient service from initial enquiry to the finished result.Our engineer Niall was brilliant, very friendly, completed the work without any problems and obviously takes pride in his work.
I would thoroughly recommend PlumbGas. From the first phone call I made, the service has been efficient and courteous. Chris, the plumber who serviced our boiler, was really friendly, helpful and worked quickly and cleanly. He offered advice about another plumbing issue we have and even took photos to arrange for a quote to be done. Overall, I am really happy with my experience and will definitely be using them again. Ive used Plumbgas for the last 3 years to service my boiler. They offer the best price locally and the service was carried out efficiently with minimum disturbance. We've found our new first-call plumber, and I'm gutted we didn't call them sooner! Huge thanks to Ryan, Stuart, and Matt who made the process of replacing our boiler so easy.
After troubles with our (very elderly) boiler in January, we initially called our regular plumbers, another local company. It was difficult to get anyone in, and when they did come, things felt very, very rushed--it was clear they were overworked, but they kept dashing out the door before making sure everything was working well, which meant repeated call outs with huge gaps in between. They kept pushing us to a new boiler, but never sent quotes or information.
After a few months, we pivoted and sought a second opinion with Plumbgas. From the moment Stuart stepped into our house to assess the situation, we were at ease: he listened, thoroughly assessed, and provided immediate feedback and next steps. We had quotes, recommendations, and information shortly after.
Ryan, our installer, was supported by Matt. Both were so incredibly professional, well-organized, tidy, communicative, and kind! Everything went so smoothly, we barely noticed the work going on. Ryan also took the time to make sure both of us had a grasp on how the new kit works. So grateful we called Plumbgas and had a chance to work with their team, we dread to think what the alternative would have been if we kept on with our original plumbers. Plumbgas have definitely found new long-term customers!

I was very impressed with Plumgas . I was told the engineers name before he arrived and I could follow his estimated time of arrival on my phone . I found this very reassuring as I was on my own . . . When the engineer arrived I could tell by his competent manner of working that my boiler service was in good hands .
I can’t recommend Plumbgas highly enough. They recently fixed a leaking pipe for us, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. They responded quickly, arrived exactly when they said they would, and got straight to work diagnosing the issue.
