While staying in a local holiday cottage we visited the Plough Inn a few times. We found it be a very positive experience due to the friendly landlord & regulars, and of course the beer & cider. We also found the bar food to be very good…we had fish and chips & couldn’t fault it. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Thanks to Andrew & his staff for their kind hospitality it made for a crackin stopover in our Small self contained motorhome. Good food and 🍺 Great Hospitality, would certainly revisit & recommend to others. Would recommend to book as it can get busy. Cheers, Tim

Thanks so much for your 5* review and kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit
We needed somewhere to eat on a Sunday evening, we picked this pub. We had the dog with us, which is usually a problem. Not here it wasn’t. The landlord welcomed us into the pub, we sat in a cosy bar. Not the biggest menu so we chose a mixture of burgers as he only had 1 fish left as it is brought in fresh each day. The burgers were well constructed, chips were huge as well as a nice little pot of coleslaw. At the end, we all felt stuffed as the portions were more than ample. The also have dog treats for sale, our dog made short work of some of them. Not too busy early Sunday, but got busier. Well done to all. Hopefully we will be back.
