We had a one hour consultation with Rachel and can't recommend it highly enough. Rachel was so easy to chat to and really helped us understand what we needed from our garden and how to design it so it worked for the whole family. We are complete novices and didn't have any idea where to start. Not only have we now got a plan for the garden, but we have the knowledge and confidence to maintain it. Rachel really focused on the basic theories of garden design, which we will be able to apply again and again. It's an absolute bargain - I'm sure we'll save far more than the consultation fee by choosing the right plants first time round instead of our usual trial and error approach!

I recently had a one-hour garden consultation with Rachel and found it incredibly helpful. Rachel was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand what I was hoping to achieve with my garden. During the consultation she shared lots of creative ideas and practical suggestions that helped me visualise the space much more clearly. She offered valuable advice on layout, and how to make the most of the garden for how I intend to use it. I came away with a much better understanding of how to bring everything together and several ideas that I hadn’t considered before. It was also really helpful to have a written guide of everything we discussed after so that I can refer back to this. Thank you.

1 hour consultation - we booked in with Rachel for a 1 hour consultation after a lot of thought. We knew what we wanted from our garden and had a fairly stable plan but just couldn't picture it or have the confidence to move forward. We wholeheartedly recommend booking a chat with Rachel, she explained things really clearly and made several suggestions that just made perfect sense that we hadn't even considered. We really appreciate the fact that Rachel also created a bespoke timed appointment for us to work around our little ones. The report sent through afterwards also helped us to remember what had been discussed and the sketches shown. Thank you Rachel!

She came up with a plan I would never have thought up but makes total sense. I contacted Rachel for help with planning my garden. I knew what I wanted but lacked the vision to plan it out. I spoke with Rachel via email and telephone; she took the time to listen to me and understand what was important in my design. The process was easy, and Rachel developed some great initial concepts. These were then tweaked over the next week or so until I got a layout I was thrilled with. The final design looks great, and the plans are comprehensive yet easy to follow. It is a big project that will take me several years to achieve, but something I would never have thought of myself. Thanks Rachel. I had an initial consultation with Rachel, which was fantastic and inspiring. Based on our discussion I went ahead and commissioned Rachel to do a full garden design for us. I could not be happier with the result. What Rachel has created for us is truly wonderful. She did so much: 1) She created a brilliant design, which was perfect and met our brief in every way. 2) She provided every technical detail we needed to work with the landscaper, including precise measurements (paths, sitting areas, lawn, beds, etc), so there was no guess work. 4) She provided visualisations, which were very helpful to see what the end result would be. 5) She delivered an incredibly comprehensive, detailed, specific planting plan, so that we knew exactly how many plants to buy and where to plant them 6) She asked lots of questions throughout the process to ensure we were happy at each stage. 7) She provided really helpful general advice. Rachel is an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so insightful and responsive to our brief. She combines artistic vision with a very precise technical focus. She has vast expertise and an encyclopaedic knowledge of plants, sequencing, etc. It seems incredible to me that she was able to do what she did without actually visiting our house, but completing the project remotely (I am in Edinburgh, Rachel in Sussex) was effortless and worked brilliantly. I also feel that we got amazing value for the price Rachel charged. Without her design, we would probably have wasted time and money on landscaping errors or buying unsuitable plants, so her fee saved us money in the long run. Most importantly, we have a garden which we “co-created” with an expert. We are really enjoying the process of bringing it to life, using Rachel’s blueprint, and watching it develop. We are now in the second spring/summer and it looks absolutely amazing - and very like the visualisations she did for us. Rachel is a superstar and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
