Post-partum Doula My husband and I were a bit nervous at the thought of having someone on our home overnight watching our baby, but Jozlynn immediately made us feel comfortable and safe with her presence! She was extremely communicative when scheduling and very detailed with how our baby did throughout the night by providing a text each shift giving us a walkthrough of how things went. 10/10 recommend Jozlynn!!

Jozlynn Dalton We invited Jozlynn back to be our doula for our 3rd kid. She was always very helpful with our other kids and would help clean as needed. We’d fully recommend Jozlynn if you are looking for a doula who is kind, friendly, and great with older kids!

My husband and I had such an amazing experience working with Bre to bring my daughter into this world. She is knowledgeable about the many different ways a successful labor and delivery can look and is willing to support you in your unique preferences and offer gentle guidance when things don’t go to plan. She worked tirelessly during my labor when I had to be induced at 41 weeks, providing both physical and mental support. She also guided and encouraged my husband so that he felt like a confident and capable participant in the labor process. She was excellent at communicating my needs to the hospital staff and reminding them of my preferences when I was focused on labor. She was an invaluable resource and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

PDN was a godsend when we were at our peak sleep deprivation. As first-time parents, we were so anxious and overwhelmed, but Erika arrived as a strong, confident caregiver every night. She is focused, competent, and worked seamlessly with us to execute our baby's feeding and sleep plan. She also managed all of my wife's breast pump setup and cleaned the equipment and bottles as needed. At the end of the day, we felt the baby and us were really cared for. It's difficult to ask for more than that. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. p.s. PDN has also been great to work with on the administrative side. When they couldn't fulfill a contract due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed a refund, and Suzy was excellent in both finding us Erika and being reasonable regarding the financial issue.

I had a wonderful experience with my doula, Sydney. With my OBGYN being a team, it was so nice to have one consistent person to reach out to throughout my pregnancy. Sydney was very knowledgeable and helped me make informed decisions regarding my pregnancy and birth. With this being my first baby, being new to the area, and having little family support near by I was anxious about my birth. Sydney offered great support leading up to and on the day of my birth. She is such a sweet and kind soul. Very calming and encouraging during my birth. Also shout out to Sydney for living so close to Magee considering I arrived at the hospital at 9.5cm!! She was in the L&D room within 5 mins of my arrival. A real MVP for that! Unfortunately I will be moving out of the area before I have my next baby. Otherwise I would absolutely hire Sydney again. But I recommend getting a doula to anyone that is pregnant. For those specifically deciding who to choose, Sydney is definitely one of the good ones!

Having Candelaria Ruiz Bradbury as my doula was truly one of the best decisions I made during pregnancy and birth. From our prenatal meetings, where she helped us plan and prepare, to the birth itself, she made me feel comfortable, motivated, and truly cared for. She advocated for us in the hospital, provided knowledge when we weren’t sure what decisions to make, and tag-teamed seamlessly with my husband so we always felt supported. She also shared thoughtful recommendations, like prenatal massage and pelvic floor specialist, which made a big difference. Most importantly, she felt like family — warm, encouraging, and always present. We are so grateful for her guidance and support, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!

We had a great experience with Candelaria for pregnancy and birth. She was attentive and informative in all our prenatal meetings, going over different positions and breathing techniques to get through a natural labor. But through the labor process is where Candelaria truly shines. She was such a calming and grounding force throughout my labor. She was there through every contraction in the hospital, suggesting different positions and techniques to get me through. And when I felt like I had enough, she gently pushed me to keep going. I was able to have the labor and birth I wanted because of Candelaria and for that I’m so grateful. If I have any more children, Candelaria will be my first call!

Had our first baby and wanted a Doula and boy oh boy am I glad we did. Our birth probably would have ended completely different if she wasn’t there to support my husband and I during labor. With her help I was able to deliver a 10lb 3oz baby. She was there every step of the way throughout our pregnancy providing tips and support when it was needed. We had Candelaria and would 100% recommend her! She was the best.

Completely Unacceptable While Suzy, the boss, is very kind and supportive, our experience with Jurisa as a caregiver was deeply troubling and ultimately unacceptable. Jurisa repeatedly placed our newborn in completely unsafe sleeping situations—first on a couch, then in a Tripp Trapp high chair with a newborn insert, which is absolutely not intended for sleep. When we addressed this serious safety concern, her response was to swaddle our baby so tightly that he was sweating and visibly overheated when we found him in the morning. This showed a shocking lack of understanding of basic infant care and safety. In addition to these concerns, Jurisa was late every single day she was scheduled to work. She even told us in advance that she might be up to 30 minutes late one day because of a volleyball game—as if that were acceptable in a professional childcare setting. It was clear that punctuality and commitment were not priorities for her. We are incredibly disappointed and feel strongly that Jurisa should not be entrusted with the care of infants. No parent should have to worry about the safety of their child or be left wondering if their caregiver will even show up on time.

We had a phenomenal experience with Pittsburgh Doula Network, working with Krista DeLorenzo for postpartum doula support and Lily and Mary Carroll for lactation support. Mary and Lily were able to provide excellent in-home guidance and support during a challenging time for us. Mary's wealthy of knowledge was very helpful and appreciated when we had some concerns with latching/tongue ties. She checked in regularly, was convenient to schedule with and had excellent tips for us to put into practice. We're looking forward to her continued support during our feeding milestones over the next year. Krista is an incredible provider and resource for anyone looking for pregnancy and postpartum care; her services are comprehensive to meet almost any needs you may have and she delivers them with such professionalism and a touch of humor. I could tell from our initial meeting that she would be a great trusted advisor to partner with her wealth of experience and calming vibes. She greatly eased our preemie's transition home when I also needed to recover from surgery, making what was a difficult time that much easier. It was incredible to have hands-on help to learn many tips and tricks from her, to debrief on our birthing experience, as well as have her help with feeding mechanics and reading their cues as we adjusted to our new home life. I finally was able to get some much needed rest and recovery at night knowing our little one was in the absolute best hands. Krista is an excellent communicator, stayed in touch with us throughout our pregnancy and almost daily during our NICU stay - even offering suggestions and support from afar - and continues to check in with us after our time together has concluded. We all - our cats included - miss her and are eternally grateful for her assistance getting us situated as a family of 3. I'd recommend her services to anyone without any hesitation, you won't regret it!

Jozlynn was responsible, kind, and communicated well. She always texted me when she was on her way, which was reassuring and nice to know. She always texted me updates on how my daughter was doing during the night. She was very professional. And overall a great person! I will definitely recommend her to friends and family.

We had a great experience working with the Pittsburgh Doula Network! We looked into post partum doula services relatively last minute before the birth of our daughter but Suzy quickly connected us with doulas who were professional, trustworthy and kind. It was a huge plus that they were all familiar with Carrot (the benefit provider through the employer) as it has specific requirements. The only negative was that we wanted 5 instead of the 4 nights of services we received due to scheduling conflicts but it ended up working out. Overall, the process was seamless and the doulas helped us tremendously as we entered parenthood. We HIGHLY recommend PDN and look forward to working with them again in the future!

We had a great experience with Pittsburgh Doula Network. The matching & hiring process was easy, and our doula, Jozlynn, was amazing to work with. She was such a big help to my husband and I, and so sweet to our son. I highly recommend PDN & Jozlynn, and hope to work with them again in the future.

Kelly was the absolute best. She provided overnight support with our third baby and from the day she started, helping to make our nights easier and prioritizing my rest and recovery. We had originally planned to use Kelly for the first 8 weeks but quickly extended her to 12. Kelly is warm, nurturing, and fit in seamlessly with our family. She made sure I was comfortable and allowed me to get the rest I needed while caring for our son. Kelly will always be a part of our family and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a doula.

Suzy matched me with a doula same day I applied and Kenix was an awesome support in those hectic first weeks with our newborn. I highly recommend!
