Pioneer is a truly life changing program. When I entered the program I felt completely broken. I couldn’t share in group without bursting into tears and had absolutely no self confidence. With the help of the amazing team at Pioneer, the informative groups and the one on one counseling, I slowly began to find myself again. I can confidently say that at this point in time, I am the happiest I have ever been and it is because of this program. The team at Pioneer truly CARE about their clients and want to see them succeed and be well. If you are struggling with mental health or addiction, I cannot recommend Pioneer enough. It has truly changed my life and I will forever be grateful.

I love my therapist that I see here. It’s been a great experience for me and the building is easy to find and my therapist is great and is very accommodating to me and my schedule. She has offered to do Saturday morning Zoom appointments in addition to our weekly in office appointments, which is great I feel like my mental health is a priority for me and my therapist is helping me iron out, the wrinkled fitted sheet, that is my life.

When I first walked into Pioneer I had no idea what to expect as I had never been to a program like this. I felt very welcomed by all the staff and other clients there. I could share openly and confidently with staff and clients during group sessions. I had the support of the entire team to help me on my recovery journey. It is a safe space and the staff is compassionate , professional and engaging. I have grown and developed many skills and techniques to help me cope with my anxiety. Pioneer’s Virtual IOP Program changed my life! I had built up so many barriers because of my social anxiety it seemed like recovery was impossible. Pioneer gave me the opportunity to connect with peers. These connections provided the support and understanding I needed to start tearing down the walls I created. The entire Pioneer team ensures to include the remote participants into every group. I truly felt like I was sitting right in the room! After attending virtually for a short time. I was able to join in person! Pioneer gave me the tools and support I needed when I needed it most!

I started Pioneer in January 2025. I’ve had victories and setbacks on my recovery journey and the staff at Pioneer believed in me. They have given me strength and encouragement to believe my recovery was not out of my reach. The care and commitment of the staff here is truly amazing. From the insightful groups to the one on one sessions, the level of support at Pioneer is incredible. Jarod has put together an amazing staff for me. Jarod as my coordinator, Katie and Keith as my one on one counselor, two amazing people and my provider with a heart of gold. If you are searching for help with your mental health and/substance abuse Pioneer really understands and cares and has the tools to make a difference.

Jarod and Kaiti are truly part of a great team at Pioneer! They exemplified professionalism yet demonstrated a caring attitude, compassion and commitment in helping my daughter with her struggle with addiction as well as providing me with the support and knowledge I needed to help her. They went above and beyond my expectations with after hour and weekend phone calls with updates as they continued helping my daughter stay connected with their program . I am truly grateful and appreciative for all they have done and continue to do to encourage sobriety. She is now 90 days celebrating sobriety!! I recently completed the program at Pioneer and I can honestly say it changed my life. At first, I was really nervous about starting and was struggling with anxiety and depression. The moment I walked through the doors I was greeted by friendly staff who genuinely seemed to care. The rest of my experience was just as impactful. They have created a safe space that allows you to grow at your pace and in whichever direction you need. The curriculum is extensive and so applicable to real life. It was never the same group twice. Every other client in the program was there because they wanted to be which made the energy very positive. The counselors are understanding, relatable and so knowledgable. They don't just preach to you, they share real life experiences and practical tools to help us manage our mental health better. The staff was always available so there was plenty of 1:1 time. I feel more prepared than ever for a purposeful and healthy life. I feel hope!

I cannot say enough good things about Pioneer Behavioral Health. One of my family members (I will keep them anonymous to protect their identity) was struggling with their mental health. I knew about Pioneer through a friend of mine and we got my family member enrolled in their program. Life changing to say the least. My family member is back to the happy and smiling person they were before they had anxiety and depression.

So I came to pioneer with an open mind that something has to help me understand what is going on, why do I get all these negative thoughts and emotions? I have never been real big on talking about anything. Come to find out that was one of my biggest problems. I’m an alcoholic/ drug addict, I also deal with some anxiety and depression. The group meetings at night are working wonders for me, people including my family actually want me around now. All of my issues have been addressed and I plan to continue with them as long as I can.

I was excited to join pioneer after a 30 day inpatient stay, but without much knowledge about PHP or IOP - I was nervous to say the least. Jared was the first person I met and I couldn’t help but smile and connect with someone who fully understands. Everyone there, Kaiti, Phil, Stephanie, Mary, Candice, Danielle and the provider are exceptional and they offer support everyday and are there to help guide you through! Peer support also played a big part. This was my first time working on myself, Pioneer Behavioral Health taught me the knowledge and tools to bring with me as I’m moving forward and to live a life better than I thought i ever could! I am proud of myself for how far I’ve come but wouldn’t have been able to without Pioneer!!!! Thank you again! - Colin

I have struggled with depression for years. I've been prescribed medication and have had therapy ,but never had an answer to why I was depressed. Pioneer helped me get that answer. Their format, counselors, topics of discussion are spot on and so relevant for anyone struggling with trauma as I was or addiction. The counselors are so open with their own life experiences, that they can relate to you, and you to them. It's a very comfortable setting which allows you to feel safe, open up and get the help you need. I would highly recommend it!
