I went on a workshop with Jorge in Andalusia and it was incredible! Jorge is a really friendly guy and he organized everything pretty well. I always felt seen and safe. It was my first time on a group trip and it was honestly a really good decision! Coming together with people from all over the world, different age groups and get connected through common interests was so special and I will never forget that experience. Thank you so much!

The weather could not have been more uncooperative—heavy downpours followed by brief windows of sun — but it was still a great trip! Everyday we found great places to sketch that were pockets of dryness. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient, food was excellent, instruction was helpful and inspiring, and the group was friendly and supportive. It was a great way to experience this incredible part of Spain.
I joined the “Aires del Sur” trip with Alan Ramiro and spent an amazing week painting some of the most beautiful corners of Spain. Jorge from Pinceladas de España planned a fantastic tour through Seville, Córdoba, and Jerez de la Frontera, taking us to the most stunning spots in each city.
He made sure everything was smooth and enjoyable for participants of all ages, always ready to help with anything we needed. Not only did he take great care of us, but he was also fantastic company throughout the trip, friendly, fun, and full of great local insights. It was an unforgettable experience, I’m sure I’ll book another trip soon! 😌
Jorge was a great guide for our group of sketchers. He was friendly, responsive, and helpful. He also clearly enjoys interacting with people from different countries and cultures. While the weather was far from ideal, Jorge adapted our schedule to work around the challenges. At our request, he changed our visit from the ruins to instead see the alcazar in Seville, and waited over an hour to get us all day of tickets.

Estuve en el viaje de Aires del Sur y fue una experiencia espectacular, las distintas localidades visitadas con sus respectivos talleres, las bodegas, los restaurantes, todo muy bien organizado y además la suerte de haber conocido a personas increíbles con muchas ganas de arte y cultura. My first ever solo trip to Spain was really a wonderful experience full of great memories and was a true adventure in art and culture. Jorge from Pinceladas de España was an enthusiastic and very welcoming guide. He did an excellent job of driving us around a number of beautiful towns and locations including two wineries both in stunning settings. He kept us amused and entertained on some long and action packed days. Alan Ramiro, the artist, did a great job providing his workshops as we were immersed in the scenery of southern Spain. As a result I’m inspired to do more painting and drawing on future trips and cement my memories of my travels even further. I’ll definitely be rebooking on another trip with Pinceladas.
Such an amazing experience that truly exceeded expectations!! Jorge from Pinceladas de España kept me laughing throughout the week but also did a wonderful job organizing the trip, where we got to visit such beautiful cities and try amazing food! Alan Ramiro, the artist, did a great job intertwining his workshops into the scenery of southern Spain and was able to give me the push I needed to try new methods and start sketching more! I was also privileged to have spent the week traveling with such a great group of people and grateful for such unforgettable experiences, especially the spooky stories on our drives back home! This journey not only allowed me to rediscover and appreciate the freedom that art can bring, but it also equipped me with the tools to enhance my artistic growth. I now feel inspired and motivated to actively engage in urban sketching. Alán Ramiro, the artist, is not only incredibly talented but also warm-hearted, and his course truly demonstrates his mastery. This course is truly distinctive in the art world, and it has also been a delightful experience filled with laughter beyond the workshops.
