Piano forte did an amazing job, and our piano sounds perfect! It’s been over a year since we got it moved it here and haven’t known who to trust it to; she took a little extra time to help me clean out the areas I did not even know needed cleaning! I appreciate the time she took to make sure to tune to the best frequency after making sure we understood the condition of our instrument. We will trust our piano to her as well as the ones our church uses.

We bought an old Baldwin spinet piano from a different music store. It was delivered with many keys inoperable and lots of dust and foreign objects. Sayaka thoroughly cleaned the piano and then went to work on the adjustments. The action of many of the keys needed to have the slack taken up. Some keys were rubbing against adjacent keys and Sayaka sanded down the edges and lubricated the keys to fix them. Putting in new strings on a spinet piano should only really be done by removing the works. Sayaka went way out of her way to restring two keys in the upper register by slipping the wire through a narrow space on the bottom peg and connecting the two ends to the upper ends. She initially said she couldn’t do it during the preliminary appraisal, but she went the extra mile in turning this peace of old furniture into a great piano. I can’t praise her enough for the hard work and dedication she put into the five hours she labored to restore this old piano. My son and I really love how the piano plays now. We have a MelodiGrand piano and Sayaka had never seen or worked with one before. She was very knowledgeable and proficient in tuning and making a few minor repairs. She was very pleasant and interesting to work with. A professional in every way. I would highly recommend her company for all of your piano tuning and repair needs.

Sayaka is an amazing piano tuner! She is professional and extremely knowledgeable. She treated my husband’s early 1900s stand-up piano with the utmost care the last two times she tuned it and gave us realistic solutions for future repairs. Thank you Sayaka!!

I had read many reviews on how great Sayaka Shinsei was so I took a chance. I was not disappointed! Wonderful woman who is very knowledgeable. She explained everything she was doing! She is very meticulous and worked on tuning my daughter's piano from 630 to close to 9. I highly recommend her and will definitely be calling her for the next tuning!!! Great work!!!

Ms Shinsei did an awesome job tuning our baby grand piano. She’s very affable, punctual, professional, meticulous, strives for perfection and takes her time explaining the condition the low, mid and high sections of the plate were.

We hired Piano Forte Tuning and services for a tuning and also troubleshoot an issue with one of our keys. Sayaka found the problem immediately and showed me the issue and was handled. Sayaka was friendly, professional, and most importantly my piano now plays beautifully. It had been in storage for years, requiring extensive repair and tuning that Sayaka was able to do quickly and at a reasonable price. We will be using her business for regular maintenance!
