Highly recommended. An excellent selection of instruments; overall a great experience. Acquire for yourself or your child a real acoustic piano to practice on and play today! If there are room constraints, buy a digital piano, but there is nothing like a real acoustic piano, and this store has a great selection of both acoustic and digital. Most importantly, with good people at the helm.

It recently was time to retire my old baby grand piano, and my tuner brought me to B Natural to help select a gently used replacement. I was knocked out by the amount of pianos I was able to see and play. After going through a number of different pieces, Dennis, one of the owners provided one of the most pleasant no-pressure purchase experiences I can recall having for a major purchase. I now own a beautiful new (for me) baby grand that came to me in a seamless delivery experience for a very fair price. What I think is extraordinary is that I have an 8 yr parts and labor warranty on my impeccable 35 yr old new to me piano with an option for a 100% of purchase price credit for 10 yrs if I should decide to trade up to another piano. I looked at pianos at a number of other dealers before making this purchase and you simply don't see this kind of thing out there. A free first tuning came with the purchase as well. I think it says worlds about the integrity of the business that they stand behind their sale in this way. Will not hesitate to recommend B Natural if anyone ever asks me.
This review is about the piano shop, not the music school. I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it has a good selection of used pianos and a very long (5 years, some even have 6 years) warranty. But I have serious issue about the person I interacted with. When asked about what year a certain piano was manufactured, or a serial number, I got lectured on a real musician should only care about the condition and not the age of the piano. He has *some* merits, but with the way company change hands, the "vintage" of the piano has become quite important. Take for example, Baldwin pianos were made in the US until 2008, after that, they are made in China. If I want an American made Baldwin, I would avoid anything after 2008. Another example is Otto Altenburg. They were made in the US until the 1990s, after that, they were made in Korea by Samick. Some people also argue that Petrofs made during the Soviet era are not as nice as after the family regained control of the company in 1991, or the NY Steinways voicing changed after it was sold to a hedge fund. I can go on and on. The bottom line is, how difficult is to answer a simple question: "What year is the piano made"? You can educate a potential customer with little knowledge in piano that in addition to age, there are other important factors when considering a used piano, but please do not IMPOSE your attitude and preconceptions on others. Secondly, when I let him know I have decided to go with a different piano shop and a different piano, even though he did not recognize the model right away, he did not hesitate to tell me how it is not as good as the one I was interested at B Natural, without understanding my situation (space, level, ultimate goal, etc). At this time I have zero desire to have anything to do with this shop. If you do, please do your own research, talk to technicians, piano teachers, etc. you trust ahead of time, and be very assertive when dealing with this person.
I recently discovered B Natural online and subsequently visited their store. I was impressed by their extensive piano selection, catering to diverse budgets and preferences. The staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction. B Natural is a true asset to the New Jersey music community. Thank you, Dennis, for your guidance🙏

There's a few things about this piano place that doesn't get 5 stars. First, teacher turnover is relatively high. We've had a new teacher every year since we've been there. Second, when we are ready to stop coming to this place, we've asked how much in advance we need to notified them. They say one week in advance. We told them 6 days before the end of the month, we weren't offer a prorated for the following month to just finish one week since the requirement is to give only one week notice. Instead they charge us for an entire month, but we can only go for another 2 weeks, so essentially we wasted half a month of tuition. If they don't offer prorated month, they should've made it clear too require 1 month advance notice, but that was not communicated.
I cannot say enough about the people and the integrity of them. 57 years in business for a reason. They are not sales people but very knowledgeable about all pianos. I was worried about this but I can't tell you enough about how they helped us and how honest they are. This is not how most things are these days-trust these guys and get a great piano.

They gave me a great deal on a used Steinway M baby grand piano. Their piano mover was very neat, courteous & professional. A month after delivery I scheduled the free tuning, and their tuner was very professional and did a great job explaining how he was tuning it, and how to recognize when it's due for another tuning. I would highly recommend B Natural.
